UPDATED "ULTIMATE GUIDE TO CATHE'S WORKOUTS"

RE: UPDATED

Coremax has some incredible "pre-mixes" which really hit the abs. Actually, I've been doing Coremax for about 6 months and just noticed these yesterday! Also her AbHits DVD is invaluable because it has almost all of her ab segments on one DVD!!!

RE: UPDATED

Thank you so much for posting the update, I can now find the workouts I need that are at the intensity I am looking for!

RE: UPDATED

This list is really great.

just two thoughts...

Low Impact Circuit; low impact step, and total body sculpting don't seem to be on the list.

Also, a ranking of the ab workouts would be cool too.

like I said, just some thoughts.

RE: UPDATED

This table has been superseded by the one that you can access via the link on the left side of the main Cathe.com page. That should contain the information you are seeking.

How amazing! This is great! I'm copying this into a folder so I won't forget where it is!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Thank you to everyone who scored the new Hardcore workouts so that the user rankings (originally compiled by the lovely Sabine) could be updated.

I list below all of Cathe’s workouts categorized and ranked from easiest to hardest, using a scale of 1 to 10. This should be of benefit to anyone considering future purchases of Cathe’s workouts.

Some notes on the rankings:

The rankings were compiled by taking an average of everyone’s responses for each workout. These averages are based on the responses of approximately 25-30 users.

The focus of ranking is on workout intensity as opposed to complexity

1 = A workout that is quite easy and well suited to beginners
5 = A workout that is not easy, not hard and well suited to intermediate exercisers
10 = A workout that has an 'OH MY GOSH' factor, is very intense, and challenges even the most advanced exerciser

I used this list, the compendium, Fitness Freak's & Cathe Rotations, numerous reviews, a lot to develop my own routines & gauge progress over time. Altogether, great resources.

Do you think this list will be updated to include newer workouts? Maybe it could include, or be revised to show levels of complexity, impact, intensity, and/or major focus of workouts in a semi descriptive & quantitative form?
Thanks to all who contributed...

Any interest or thoughts?
TIA
Linda :)

i love this guide too and would love it if someone would initiate updating it. it was a great idea and i refer to this list often. great job! very dedicated cathe leaders on this forum. i love it. i would gladly participate in any new survey.

Thank you

I just realized my last comment sounded ungrateful......I am deeply grateful for all those who created this guide....it is invaluable.

I thought a lot about this, what you "collective you" could do, in other words, not me, is cut & past the original into a new post & add everything that is not there in no particular order, under the appropriate headings.

Then people who have done the newest workouts, maybe more than a few times could comment on the order, then the original poster could go back & edit the update. Maybe the gang over there would sticky it too so it's easy to find?

That way people could get a general idea of where workouts fall on the scale, that is an extremely useful list when planning rotations & when planning PURCHASES!

Just sayin' ;)
