Good morning,

Agility class with Kylee yesterday...then mostly laundry/HouseMax.

Judy, great workouts! How was the trip to Ann Arbor and the stamp show?

Diane Sue, that is great that you have that family FB page and that you can share photos with your family. I can say that doing something like that is one of the good things about FB. I don't usually meet the deductible for my insurance, but I did this year with all those tests and specialists visits.

Valerie, that is too bad about your family not being close. The exchanges available here were much less expensive....the one I am looking at has a $1000 deductible and is through one of the better medical insurance companies around here, I have some questions for them before I sign up, so will be calling them this week. Most of the plans I looked at covered preventative care, Physicals, mammograms, colonoscopies, etc. I have to just have coverage for the first 3 months, then am going on Medicare on April 1. The company retiree plan, which I could stay on if I wanted to went up to $905 a month!! However, they are doing a one-time deposit of $18k in a HRA type account for me to use for all medical coverage.

Carolyn, when will your rebounder be delivered?

Lori, nice workouts and Gigi got her walk too! You did the FT rotation?

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Good Morning Everyone,

Deb-Thanks! There was a home game at U of M yesteday so traffic in Ann Arbor was crazy. The stamp show was so crowded that we left early and just did some shopping. We went to Plum Market, which is kind of like a local Whole Foods. I had a 15% off coupon so we stocked up on some of the things we like. It's a pricey store so I try to only go when I have some kind of coupon. We are going back to the stamp show today. It probably won't be as busy and the traffic won't be as bad.

Carolyn-I didn't like To The Mat at first. It took a while for it grow on me. I feel like I should do it more often. I've always avoided floor work, but that's probably the thing I need most.

Lori-Great job with the Fit Tower rotation! I think I'm going to try Fit Tower Boot Camp this week.

Valerie-I agree about music being more important for spinning than other workouts. I can take it or leave for strength work. That's great that you can get back to your normal workouts in a few days!

Diane Sue-When I first got on Facebook it was just for staying in touch with my friends in Iowa, but now I use it more for fitness and social groups. A few years ago we set up a Dropbox account to share family photos and videos. We also use it to back up all of our photos and files in case something happens to our computers. We pay $9.99 a month for 1 Terabyte of storage.

Judy

I am really looking forward to regular workouts again!! I did 30 on elliptical, abs from HR and 2 sets of knee pushups. I miss riding a lot. weather has mostly been too crummy to ride most days anyway and we have enough snow in the mountains to end most hiking for the season. I plan on starting over with the ICE series and focusing efforts on workouts I have neglected. I used mainly Metabolic total body. also going back to some older workouts because of the less intrusive ( as I remember anyway) soundtrack.

Deb wow (!)on the decent insurance programs. DH does not think his colonoscopy would be covered under preventive on his plan but the details are hard to come by when things first get released. the "lowest deductible" available plan was still over $ 6000 deductible to be met. Weird there is so much difference state to state.

I think flu shots are covered by everyone. my MC supplement is United. they spend a lot of money reminding you over and over to get the flu shot. immunizations here have shifted almost entirely to retail outlets. I get mine at the Costco pharmacy, but every other pharmacy chain advertises like crazy for immunizations. The clinic DH worked at ( before retiring) actually had trouble getting "flue" shots because almost all inventory went to pharmacies. (I left the last 'flu" typo because the autocorrect keeps adding an "e" on every time I type it..looks so funny)

Lenox china stone is very nice. it is less bulky than a lot of stoneware and held up very well over time. in 30 years I only broke a few plates not paying attention unloading the DW.

Deb, my family is bizarre. no way around it.

Valerie when we bought our stoneware, we purchased 3 8 place settings all in a southwestern pattern as that was the decor of the house we bought at the time. Over the years a lot have been broken. I do like using them for family visits other than holidays. It saves on the expense of paper plates and probably more environmentally friendly. Before long i will need to replace them. I had the blue willow pattern for many years and gave them to my youngest daughter.

Deb, I have had a couple of years where I was so glad I had insurance. This year I have not used it at all. Of course the year before with all of those tests and stuff I used it. The year with the torn miniscus, just the out patient surgery would have been 14,000. They had me pay 10% up front which was unexpected. They gave it back to me 6 months later which was a surprise. It seems a bit crazy that you have to have a deposit of 18K . A ot of people dont have those funds. It seems a lot of insurance covers health screenings and particularly immunizations. I noticed for my husband it says screening and immunization 100% coverage. Now I am not sure if the medicare and supplement will require me to pay for my flu shot as there is the 183.00 deductable. With no car just running to the clinic to get the shot has been an issue. Normally I have done that by now. I am going to try to coax my husband into going when he is off later this week.

Judy I have not paid for cloud space for my pictures yet. I recently backed up my phone and tablet though. I keep them on an sd card in both. Yesterday my husband made me administrator of our family pictures on facebook. I sometimes wonder why I ever started facebook :) I get so much information there though. Even down to following the vet to see when his office is done. He is still working out of his garage. He puts a lot of good articles on pet care on his facebook page.

Hello Everyone,
Today is my rest day. I’m starting to plan for Thanksgiving and deciding what things I can prepare in advance and freeze. We won’t have as many people as last year since my middle daughter and her family are not coming until Christmas. We always use the “good” china for holidays. The girls are responsible for cleanup and that have developed a very efficient system over the years. When they were growing up I would set a formal table every couple of months so that they would be comfortable with it. There were a lot of formal affairs in the military. I don’t know if they still do that.

Valerie, the older workouts have many of my favorite songs from that time. You will probably like that better than the current music. I need the right music for motivation when I am on the treadmill and I like good music for other cardio, but it doesn’t matter to me for weight work.

Deb, I hope my Jumpsport comes tomorrow but the tracking information is not accurate. That is the estimated delivery date, but it might take longer.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Good evening ladies,

This morning I did a SB arm workout then a BBS dance. Each were about 20 mins. I then hopped on my Spin and did 30 mins of Ride. We did not go for a bike ride today. My husband did but I walked Chester instead. She thanked me. :) we went 3 miles.

Deb...yes I am doing the 30 day FT rotation. I started it when we first received the dvds but stopped to do P90x with my son. I like these workouts and thought I would be bored doing the rotation. But I love I can add in my cardio of choice and this makes all the difference for me.

Judy...hoping the stamp show is not as busy today. Takes the fun out of things sometimes when there is so much traffic.FT Bootcamp is a great workout. I use dropbox a lot for work and they pay the $9.99 for me. I do use it from time to time to send videos I made of my family. Love this technology. I send a family member a link and they get it immediatley to download and keep. My cousin recently asked me to make a video for her. She sent me pictures and a few clips and told me the music to use. She lives 3 hours from me and she had the complete video back the same day using dropbox. Can’t beat that!

Valerie...sad that your family is the way they are. Mine is odd too. No one talks to eachother anymore because of petty stuff. Which series had the music issues for you? Was it ICE? It has been unusually nice here in New England. Almost broke the record of the warmest October since they started recording. We were out today with just long sleeved shirts and we were very comfortable.

Caroyln...we are visiting Bob’s parents at Thanksgiving. They live in Florida and we are looking forward to it. We went last year and it was unheard of for me to be sitting by the pool in shorts Thanksgiving morning. We most likely will do this every year. They were so happy we went last year. My MIL cried. How can we not go every year? Fingers crossed the JS arrives tomorrow!

Diane Sue...I agree. I like bounce better than tramp. BBS calls their bounce workouts Tramp. I will admit I thought it odd but now my son’s GF and I laugh all the time about it that its time to tramp! I just signed on to yet another streaming site to try out. LEKfit is the name and they offer a 7day trial before you are charged. I learned of this site from VF when they were discussing BBS’ new Trampoline dvd She has quite a few bounce workouts that look fun. Also, her scultping is more hi rep, barre and pilates which is what I am really enjoying. If I stay with this I need to rethink all my streaming sites and may drop Live for a bit. I do not use it as I did a couple of years ago. I love love love...SB, BBS and Bellicon. Not sure I could part with any of these.

Have a great night all!

No workout today. It was family day and when we got home I ran to Walmart Market to get the stuff I did not get at Sprouts since I had my husbands car to drive. My granddaughter 17 is here right now and brought over her VW for me to use. Her sister is picking her up and she will drive her Dad's truck since he is away for a few days before her parents leave for Cancun. She is so sweet D

Valerie, I had wondered about going somewhere other than the doctors office for my flu shot. I went to Walgreens one year but at the time we had United Healthcare HMO and we were out of the City so it cost me 40.00. I know my Part D supplement gave me a discount card as well for CVS purchases. Silver Script? I am not sure how that all works. I guess I will figure it out when I go get the flu shot. Every time I type on my tablet I have to go slow or it puts a v connecting my letters. It also does not capitalize the letter I when I am saying I as referring to myself. I go back and look at what I typed and find myself editing. Sometimes I miss some of it.

Carolyn, I went out today and purchased two turkey breasts and potatoes and some other items for Thanksgiving dinner. I too am trying to get a head start. I am not sure at the moment how many I will have. My youngest daughter and her husband have his mother and her husband staying at their house right now. His Mother is also my son's wife's mother. I am wondering if they will come too. You are right the older workouts have a lot of good songs and they are recognizable songs that make the workouts more fun to do.

Lori, I bet Gigi loved going for a walk. She probably thanked you well :) I took Gertie out for some ball tossing when we got home. She was happy to get some attention. That is wonderful that you enjoyed Thanksgiving so much last year and that they loved having you. You can't beat that for something to be thankful for. You will have to let us know what you think of this streaming service. I rarely look at video fitness. It's funny because Tracey Anderson called her workout a tramp workout as well. I still contemplate doing a month of live again just so I can do some that use the Fit Tower. I was hoping there would be several before I do that though.

30 elliptical, about 20 min abs from ICE, and 100 knee pushups. I've been moving up the number slowly. ugly weather, snow, ice, nasty and early in the season for here.

Lori, I always felt separate from my family... like odd man out, so to speak. I went on to do what I wanted. didn't do the "traditional" pathway. I moved to the west coast in mid '70's. went back to Midwest many times to visit, my job base was back there. my parents came out here twice. one other time my mother and sister came. no one else ever did. I thought I'd get visits, but it was like I moved to Mars or something. I offered, no one came. whatever! you can't change people and can't fix broken. I brought my mother out here a few more times after father passed on but not a lot of fun for her.

my brother did a fast move to grab control of mothers remaining money, and since then we are not talking. I was open about how DH and I had the money invested. brother and wife set up a grab for it and coerced mother into agreeing to it. mother is spineless. (very brief summary) I said I was done it, and he was on his own after that. we had managed it for almost 20 years and grown it considerably. so now he and sister are arguing about how he is managing it and spending it. sister is destitute. brother and wife, I don't know, but he does not do things on the up and up as I insist they be done. sometimes I would like to just block my phone number.

I am also doing turkey breasts for Thanksgiving, but we are having in laws here this week. one event at a time. they will be here for 2 and a half days probably.

Diane sue I think every state does things differently. Locally here, pharmacies have taken over all immunizations and I don't believe anyone pays for it. they almost tackle you and drag you in for shots!

Lori the music problem has been gradually building for me, Strong and Sweaty was the killer. As I go back I will try to notice when the background music went over the top for me. I think ICE was still okay. It usually was not every disk.

Good morning,

Yesterday I did Live Metabolic Meltdown...42 minutes, 226 calories. This is one of my favorite Live workouts....even the core part at the end is "doable" for me. :)

Judy, I hope your trip back to Ann Arbor was pleasant, and not as crowded as Saturday. I have also avoided Cathe's floor work, (like that part of Gym Style Legs). It is just too tough for me and I get very frustrated. I agree, it is probably something I should fight to get through.

Valerie, I am very surprised that Washington State does not have better plans....maybe I am missing something big and will be horrified when I go to sign up. I am going to call the number at the top of the site to ask some pertinent questions....make sure I am understanding some of the critical points before I actually sign up. Also, the insurance company I think I am picking has local agents that you can meet with. I am going to call the one that John used for his Medicare re-up and see if she is available and can speak about the exchanges "pre-Medicare" choices.

Diane Sue, I have the china set that my Mom & Dad got as a 25th wedding anniversary gift. I still use it for holidays, but not day-to-day. As for the $18K...FedEx is depositing that money in an account for me to use for health care, I don't have to come up with it. It is in lieu of them paying a portion of the care to the insurance company. I will have to pay out of pocket, then file a claim to get the money back which will come out of that account. I have an account with Picturetrail.com, but I think they have started charging for keeping them, maybe if you use a certain amount of space. They have never charged me, but I have only a few pics on there. Great that you have a car to use for now.

Carolyn, hope your JP shows up today. We bought the squash for Thanksgiving, but nothing else so far. It sounds like you have it down to a science....:).. Nice that you had those formal dinners so your daughters can experience that.

Lori, I could not help but notice how you typed "Chester".....he is still in your heart and will always be there. I am so grateful for my family and that we are still close. Your Florida Thanksgiving trip sounds wonderful. Sunnyside pool on Thanksgiving....Yes!

Puppy class this morning, and taking my friend for a treatment.....

Take care,

Deb we are upset too that nothing more reasonable is not available. DH is very aggressive about this and has worked with a company that is supposed to guide the process but this is all we have available this year. WA is not a poor or republican run state so we can’t see a reason for the ACA choices to be so degraded. OR and CA are similarly governed. But insurance companies this year give us almost no choices at all

We used to have lovely formal dinners with China and crystal DH’s family was way more informal. More hot dog “beer from can “ people. I try to set a nice table and a real dinner but I am an outlier. No food out of a can here. My one niece will carry the tradition but everyone else seems to have devolved into fast food, lots of beer and screaming at tv ball games. Not for me.

ETA I tried to take the capital C off china but when I type it on my phone, it autocorrects repeatedly to the upper case format. autocorrect sure has its quirks.
a lovely day today, just as nice as the last few days have been bad. we went out birdwatching this morning but ended up not much walking since the places we picked were full of duck hunters. Yuck!. another indoor workout today probably 30 on elliptical and maybe a muscle meltdown from ICE. I have a lot of dvds that I have not used any of the extras.

Today I did Kelly Coffey's Trim Down Both workouts mix, 60 minutes, 404 calories, heart rate average 139, max 178. I used 1# dumbbells for the boxing segments and 5,8,10, and a 12# for the weight segments. This is a metabolic interval workout with boxing between weight work. I used this a lot for getting back into some lower body stuff after knee surgery. There is not too much jumping and when rehabbing my knee I modified the jacks that were in some portions. I forgot how much I liked this workout. No work sheets for this one. I really don't think with a workout where you are doing combined body parts at the same time that it would be easy to do a worksheet, plus it is rather fast paced.
I will come back and read and respond to posts. I have to shower and get ready to go to the library with my daughter.

Today I did D 34 Chest and Back. My time was 1 hour 21 minutes with 326 calories burned. Average heart rate was 110 and maximum heart rate 140. It’s hard to believe that this is my final week of STS.

My Jumpsport was delivered about an hour ago. I just finished putting the legs on and getting it set up. I didn’t put the bar on, but it’s going to work fine with the tower. I’m excited to get started with it.

Hello to all and have a good afternoon.

I picked up a couple of workouts from the library. One was a Jessica Smith Walk on workout that I thought I might try on the rebounder. The other was a Tracey Long Stronger Longer Volume 2. Someone had mentioned the Tracey Long and I thought I would take a look. There was not much at the library that I would want other than what I already have. I mainly wanted to look for interesting yoga, but nothing appealed to me. There was a lot of beginner stuff.

Valerie, that is too bad that your family is not close. I am glad mine really was willing to let whoever wanted certain thing have them. The money was divided up as my Dad had set in his will. We made sure all medical costs etc. were paid first. Even though he had done so much with the house and remodeling it and was married to his second wife for 21 years, he gave the house to his wife's family since it was hers when they got married. We agreed they could have his travel trailer. There was really no animosity among anyone. I would have thought that your parents would visit you though. That is sad.
I read something in my silver script part D about certain injections and picking it up at the pharmacy and having it administered at a clinic or vice versa. I would have to go back and look. It seemed odd and I was just skimming a bit through the latest manual they sent. Maybe I misunderstood it.

Deb, that is so nice that you have a family heirloom like your mother's china. I would probably do the same thing and use them for special occasions too. I see now on the 18 K . I was thinking that was a ridiculous expectation. I found some of the stuff going through the medicare sight a bit confusing at first. When I went to the Mutual of Omaha site they had a better explanation. It seems that all plans C F G whatever are the same everywhere, but not all insurers carry all of the plans. That was part of what I found when I checked State Farm as they encouraged the Plan F (I think that is right) which has no deductable. It was higher price wise than Mutual of Omaha and they did not carry the plan I wanted which would just leave me with the 183.00 deductable for Medicare and takes care of everything else. I spent a lot of time reading and checking on everything. I still get mailings trying to help me choose my medicare. I will be glad when it stops.

Carolyn, I am glad that you got your Jump Sport today. Yeah!!

Good evening ladies,

This morning was 40 minutes of Live Rhythm Ride. Tonight was FT Total body. This still is my favorite of the three.

Deb...I did not notice I typed Chester instead of GiGi. :(. You are right he is still very much in our hearts. We still miss him and we both still het choked up sometimes when we talk of him. He really was bery special. I have done that metabolic workout and like it too.

Carolyn...yeah! JS arrived! I never put the bar on my smaller JS. The tower worked great with some weights. Some of SB workouts you need it to be weighted to hold your weight. Happy Jumping!

Diane Sue...we love Cancun and have been about 10 times. Always have so much fun. Right now Cathe has 3 live FT workouts. 1 is Cardio Legs and the other 2 are Total Body. I hope she does an Upper Body only. This would be fun. I love Jessica on the trampoline. Of course you need to make some adjustments since the trampoline landscape is a lot smaller than her walks. But it is easy to do and a lot of fun. Let us know how you did. I should check my library out and see what they have.

Valerie...the extras on the workouts can be great. Sometimes a workout on its own when you are limited on time. My husband loves a formal table and would be glad to set it for you! When we entertain, it’s his job to set the table. And wow he can set a beautiful table.

Have a great night all!

Good morning,

No workout yesterday...I had puppy class and right after took my friend for her treatment.

Valerie, I am so thankful that I only have to use the ACA for 3 months, then it's Medicare for me. Bird watching sounds nice, in lieu of a hike or ride. :).

Diane Sue, it sounds like you are working your way through the KCM workouts. That seems like a good idea, I may to that myself. I am overwhelmed with all the Medicare choices too. I always forget to look at the library for workouts to try.

Carolyn, great that your JP got there yesterday....wow, only 2 more STS to do?

Lori, I hope I didn;t upset you by pointing out the typo. I thought it was so sweet....Chester still here with you in mind and heart. I should look at the FT and S&S rotations....

Hi to Judy...

Take care,

Good Morning Everyone,

Sunday I did Gym Style Legs and yesterday I did Cardio Supersets and Jessica Smith Gentle Yoga.

Deb-We had a better time in Ann Arbor on Sunday. Traffic was light and the stamp show wasn't very crowded. The floor part of Gym Style Legs was very hard, especially the part involving the ball. That was almost impossible for me.

Lori-We think about Tiger and Misty all the time. I still find myself saying Tiger or Misty sometimes when saying something about Chino or Shadow. They will always be in our hearts.

Diane Sue-I hope you like the JS walk. She has a new series coming out later this month, "Walk Strong 3". I've seen some of the previews and it looks like she's ramping up the intensity and using weights more in this one.

Carolyn-I hope you enjoy the Jumpsport!

Valerie-Chris's family is very close, even though they live all over the country and don't see each other that often. My family isn't as close, but I do stay in touch with some on Facebook. My Father had children from a previous marriage and it was an odd and awkward situation. I wasn't close to them and never felt like I had siblings.

Judy

As I thought, I ended up on the elliptical for 30 and then HR abs. it's a decent workout. we have a unit with arm motion bars. if you push up the incline and go fast, your heart rate gets up there and all parts work all the time. It showed I burned 308 calories but I have questioned the accuracy before and think of these as ballpark numbers.

Judy I have the GS series and remember the upper body ones but not the legs. when we are hiking and riding a lot, I didn't do a lot of leg workouts. While everyone is waiting on a new series, I'm focusing on going back and re doing the many DVDs I have that I have not used in years, and looking at all the extras. we reminisce about long ago lost pets. we are still debating getting another kitty. I would love another, and keep thinking about getting two like you have so they would be company for each other. but we have the travel issue, and little experience with kitties and long drives. I know people travel with cats but I usually take them to the vet and back and that's it. no wonder none of them liked riding.

no one in my family is even vaguely computer literate. sister and brother don't own one and no smart phones either. I have one cousin who is, but he lets his wife do all the typing. friends are the same way. will do it if they HAVE to, but no one communicates much, shares pics etc. I think once relationships phased down, back in "snail mail only" days, that was the end of things. I went to visit my family a lot of times in the past, but most were older, and they have all passed on. not a lot of cousins, and now they are old too, and I've barely met their children. I've had better luck with DH's family and we get together sometimes. they all are at least somewhat computer literate so we can touch base that way.

Lori, a formal table would be a waste of energy. they all think drinking beer from a glass ... instead of right out of a can... is "snobby". and it goes on from there. (beer tastes so much better from a nice glass!) some things are not going to change! I look for the good and ignore the shortcomings.
they will be here mid day today for about 2-3 days.

Valerie- I like having 2 cats. They are good company for each other, and we don't feel bad if we are gone all day on the weekends. I know some people travel with their cats but we've never done that. We always board them at the vet when we go out of town.

Today I did All Out Low Impact HiiT, floor and step cardio plus Icy Core 1. Total time was 48 minutes and 312 calories burned. Average heart rate was 127 and maximum heart rate 162. I also did a JumpSport warmup and one endurance section from one of the workouts on the free dvd. That was 10 minutes and 55 calories. Average heart rate 113 and maximum heart rate 130. Yesterday I did a few basic beginner bounces that I have seen from various YouTube videos. That was about 10 minutes, but not continuous. I was trying to get accustomed to the the feel of rebounding.

Valerie, I agree that the data from fitness trackers is not totally accurate, but it gives enough information to gauge your progress.

Judy, I saw the clips from Jessica’s upcoming workouts and it definitely looks like she is increasing the intensity. I will probably order them if I have the discount code that she is sending to people on her email list.

Diane Sue, it’s good that you were able to get a couple of dvds from the library. I never think to look there, but it’s a good way to try things out. I am very ambivalent about the move to streaming but I know that’s where everything is heading. I use my iPad or my husband’s laptop for streaming, but we will probably get a new television before long. It will be easier then, or that’s what my youngest daughter tells me. She hates our 17 year old Sony!

Lori, what do you think of the Lekfit workouts? I don’t see myself doing the high jumps on the rebounder. I think SB and JS are more my speed :).

Deb, it’s good that you were able to do the Live workout. Workouts are easier when you really enjoy them. You might like the new JS workout. You can see the clips on her Facebook page.

Enjoy your day!

Today I did a variety of workouts and was really too indecisive as to what to do. I did not want weight work today. I am so sore all over from Kelly's workouts. So, I started with the Jessica Smith Walk On Hiit Walk and using my rebounder to do it on, which required a bit of adjustments for space, 30 minutes, heart rate average 140/ max 168 :O , 3,112 steps, 193 calories. I then did Kelly's Train Like a Contender (TLC) premix lower body conditioning, 16 minutes, 88 calories, heart rate 112 average, 148 max, 802 steps. I wanted some extra core work so I did Home Gym Intervals waistline segment, 9 minutes, 45 calories, 399 steps. I finished off with Kelly's Body Design Yoga section, 13 minutes, 43 calories, 44 steps. Total time was 68 minutes, calories 369. They will have had my car a week tomorrow. I have heard nothing. I wonder if they are even paying any attention to it. I drove my granddaughters VW today. It is a good thing my husband pointed out to me that there was a button to make the key pop out of the key fob. I would have been texting her to find out if there was a key. Even at that, I was pushing all of the buttons on it before I found the one that popped out the key. It is weird because when it pops out then the fob and key are in a T shape. No key spot on the passenger door. I couldn't move the seat in to get my bags in the back. I put them in front on the passenger side and sat a 35 pack of bottled water on the passenger seat. It kept warning me the seat belt wasn't fastened. That is the only problem with driving a car that I am unfamiliar with.

Lori, I found it was not too complicated to alter moves to fit on the rebounder. I have done so many workouts on it, it is easy to find a move that compliments what Jessica Smith is doing. I think I should look at the other workouts on the disc. I also want to preview Tracie Long's workout. I checked this morning and it is over 50 minutes. I thought maybe it was mostly core work and flexibility, but after checking out the breakdown on Total Fitness I see it has strength work for everything. Not long segments though.

Deb, I like Kelly and there are workouts of hers that I have not done in a long time. I thought it would be nice to go through them. I did that with Susan Chung's 4 workouts and some of Jari Love's workouts (They started making my knee and hip hurt so I backed off). I have enjoyed going through some older favorites as well. I am looking forward to Kelly's new set. I normally check out books digitally, but have been going to my library with my daughter and grandchildren so they can check out books. It helps being able to do this for homeschooling. They would have to pay a fee to use my library if I didn't use my account. There library is a smaller library in their town. I don't mind and started looking around at the dvds.

Judy, Gym Style legs is a long tough workout. I always feel well worked when I do that one. I liked the floor work :) I will have to check out Jessica Smith's upcoming workout. I was surprised at how well I kept my heart rate up with today's workout. At this point when we leave we just have one of the older grandchildren come over and spend time with Gertie and let her outside several times a day. Most of the time it is my grandson that lives less than a mile away. He works around the corner right now and so he can come and go before work etc.. Taking a pet to places where you might stay in a hotel does not work out well.

Valerie, I much prefer drinking my beverages out of a glass that is made of glass, not plastic. I don't drink beer or soda pop so there is not a problem there either. I think people's methods of doing things come from media and how the usage of those things are portrayed as the way to do it. Advertising does not show someone pouring their beer or Coke into a glass to drink it. It is best to overlook other's faults as we probably have what they think are faults of our own :) Maybe you could get the cats used to riding in a crate. Since you travel they should get used to it if you start young.

Carolyn, I started right out with URX-MT urban rebounding extreme. I purchased it with my urban rebounder. I was flying across the rebounder and jumping off and on. I am surprised I didn't have a lot of mishaps. I have caught my toe in the skirt on it a couple of times and hit the floor. I think that is why Amy Bento says to get over the skirt. I think it was meant as sort of a pun though. Yes, everything is headed to streaming. Even computer companies are leaving out the disc drive now. I think if I tried to figure it out I could air stream to my Sony Smart television upstairs. I also have the Roku up there and my new Sony Blu-ray has a lot of options and runs a lot of other programs as well as a usb port. Our main television downstairs is a 60 inch Sharp that we got 7 years ago. It has a lot and internet stuff like you tube but not quite as many frills as my Sony television in the workout room. We only have one older television that we used to drag around in the Fifth Wheel trailer. It does not even have a HDMI hook up on it. That becomes a bit of a problem for some things.
