Metabolic Condotioning Workouts

Hi, Cathe! How are you? I just read the article “3 Types of Metabilic Conditioning Workouts and the Benefits of Each” and was wondering if AfterBurn, Cardio Supersets, and Athletic Training from the Low Impact Series are considered metabolic conditioning workouts. Recently, due to arthritis in my knees, I’ve had to take a break (possibly permanently depending on what my sports med doctor says on Monday) from high impact exercises. I’m looking for total body workouts that are joint friendly, vary in intensity so as not overtax my nervous system, and still keep me lean. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!
