Physical is done, but now I have more tests coming, thyroid ultrasound, dexa scan, colonoscopy, maybe a specialist for arthritis.

Doreen, have a fun 4th and camp out :)

Belinda, I hope you are okay. I know that you are having a rough time. Sending prayers and thoughts your way.

Today I did Coffey Fit Raw workouts, Coffey Fit Raw Intervals #1, 34 minutes, 216 calories, heart rate 127 average, 167 max, met 5.8, 2,329 steps. I then did Raw core moves, 24 minutes, heart rate 95 average, 122 max, 93 calories, met 3.5, 208 steps. I finished with Raw Cardio finisher, 14 minutes(actual 12) 1,161 steps, met 6.0, 93 calories, heart rate average 131, max 154. I also did Sarah Beth Yoga gentle hip opening 12 minutes. I didn't add it to my calories or time. Total workout time 72 minutes, calories burned 402.
Raw Intervals used a step and a 7# dumbbell(I used 7.5 and 8) and is 30 second intervals with some light weights added to the moves and ends at 25 minutes with a weighted ab work and stretch. I liked it. No crazy jumping :) Core moves used a stability ball throughout 2 sets of each move.
Cardio finisher did snatch, quick skates, jog, straight jump repeated 3 times then upper punches and jabs. The only weight use was the snatch that Kelly used a 20 for. I started this last week but worried when I saw the 20# snatches. Anyway, I used 15# and there are only 8 reps per side each of the 3 rounds. Not real rough. I just didn't want to kick in the neck and shoulder issue again.

Today I did Coffey Fit Raw kettlebell and kickboxing, 34 minutes, heart rate average 125, max 166, met 5.9, 222 calories, 1,640 steps. I used 20# for the swings and 15# kettlebell for the other stuff along with the figure 8 to curtsy. 2# dumbbells for the kickboxing segments. I liked this workout. She ends with some abs with the 15# kettlebell. I then did Coffey Fit Raw Back side from the front and back workout, using the Roku should save my spot for the front side next. This was 37 minutes with me taking some notes, heart rate average 106, max 131, met 4.5, 184 calories,616 steps. Great workout! I then did Sarah Beth Yoga on youtube, Monday Morning Yoga 15 minutes, 38 calories.

I then did Front Side from Back side and front side raw, 25 minutes, heart rate average 101, max 135, met 4.5, 124 calories, 229 steps. I started my workout with a warm up of Sarah Beth Yoga 10 min warm up, and finished off the workouts with post run cooldown yoga 20 minutes, 30 minutes total 66 calories. Total time today was 79 minutes, 356 calories.

Doreen, nice workout today. I always hated clean up and putting away after camping. Even when we had our fifth wheel and a lot of stuff was ready to go all the time, there was laundry and groceries that needed brought in the house and I had to clean the trailer.

Diane Sue- Good job with the RAW workouts. They are fun- aren't they? Front side and back side I never got to before my month was up. The one she is uploading this weekend looks good too. I'll have to subscribe again. I wonder what her definition of summer is? Maybe I can get the cheaper price for a month in August.

This morning was a mish-mosh. I started Cardio Supersets from LIS and did 17 minutes before google drive failed to connect (I was at the park). So I switched to Xtrain AOLIHiit floor and then finished with All in 18 - Sweat and sculpt combos. I had 10s and 15# DB with me so that worked.

Belinda- Hope you are doing ok. Thanks for sharing all your pictures of Brawler on FB. Sending hugs your way!!

This morning I did Coffey Fit Raw Intervals #2 Circuits. This is actually 38 minutes but took me 47 minutes writing things down and letting my dog out twice!! She was urgent enough to finally head butt me to get me to let her out the second time. She's been acting off this last week. Not sure what it is. Anyway this was 285 calories, heart rate average 118, max 166, 1,876 steps met 5.5. I then did Home Gym Intervals 2 , 37 mutes, heart rate average 121, max 159, met 5.8, 1,544 steps. Total time was 84 minutes, 521 calories.
Home Gym Intervals 2 has 3 cardio segments and kelly does them with no equipment. I used the spin bike for some of it. The rest is all weight and strength segments. I did not write down all of the moves here and need to go back and rewatch it so I can add it to my notebook. She did do a squat thrust to bicep curl, a plank push up knee in, pike push up plank , and some abs at the end. That is what I recall right now. ;)
Raw Intervals #2 Kelly uses 7# dumbbells she goes through this whole sequence twice altering the moves or doing no weights the second time
plank pulls/plank jacks
biceps run curls I used 8# first then 7.5 Bowflex second time
lunge switch 8# first time 5# second time no weight
rope/ jack/ knee/knee
lateral raise/ single lateral raise 7.5#
frog squat/lunge left and right 8# dbs (second time no weight)
upper cuts hop forward and back/just upper cut
triceps extension/ triceps pull to front and overhead into extension 8# dbs
squat pops/ squat heel click 7.5# no weight second time through
curtsy/scales alternating sides used 8# kelly does no weight the second time
plank/star (plank raise arm up to side)
break and repeat all

Doreen, I bet that you can get the cheaper price for August. It is still summer ;) I am enjoying the workouts. Next time I do Front Side Back Side I will do the whole thing with both. I had just did some of the body parts pretty heavily and split it. I think it is about 61 minutes doing all of it. She does tell you that when you hit the running in place you know that is the point for the other side when starting up.

Today's workout was Coffey Fit Raw Cardio Crush, 32 minutes, average heart rate 140, max 169, 204 calories, met 5.8, 1,994 steps. This was four sets of each move before moving on to the next, 1 segment used an optional loop band, it uses step and floor. That one is from the youtube raw workouts. I then did Coffey Fit Raw stretch 28 minutes, 66 calories, 104 steps. Total time 60 minutes, 270 calories. We have company coming over this afternoon and going to dinner :)

Doreen, I hope the glute bridges hurt in a good way. Nice looking workout.

Belinda, thinking of you.

Hi everyone, sorry for not checking in since Brawlers passing :( I am having a tough time since he passed. I didn't care about working out or getting any steps in. I have a lot of guilt for putting Brawler down. I couldn't sleep or eat for day's. I had no energy to do anything. Brawler passed away June 26 on a Tuesday and that Friday DH and I picked up Brawlers paw prints from the Neurosurgeon they made for us. Although I didn't have an appointment on Friday the surgeon took the time to speak to me. He ensured me I made the right decision and I had done everything humanly possible for Brawler. He even said, I have done more for Brawler than most dog owners would do for their dogs with DM :( He hadn't seen a dog with DM living for over 2 1/2 years. We had Brawler cremated. We picked up his ashes on Tuesday exactly a week after he passed on Tuesday :(. On Tuesday I went through Brawlers adoption papers, we adopted him from Pet Guardian Angel Pet rescue in El Paso. TX. Brawler was only 7 weeks old when we adopted him. We adopted Brawler 13 1/2 years ago exactly at 2:15 pm, and Brawler passed away at 2:15 pm :( Crazy, huh? I miss Brawler so much. I still can't move his dog bed from the living room. I left everything the way it was the day Brawler left us. Everything feels so unreal to me :( I still can't wrap my head around it that he is gone. My husband and I talk a lot during our walks outside (he makes me walk). My husband been on my side the entire time. Both my sisters from Germany have been calling me daily since Brawlers passing. When I first found out that Brawler had DM, I knew what to expect. No one really can prepare you for this :( I miss him dearly. I miss him watching/looking for me when I work out. I am so grateful for Brawler coming into my life, he showed me nothing but love. I will always miss him, he will always be in my heart.

If you lost a pet before what helped you to get through the loss?

I will check in later. Need to catch up on personals.

Belinda, there was nothing else that you could do and I know how much you miss Brawler. When I lost my other dog Mudd (aka Mudd pup) I was really grieving, but, I also had Gertie who needed extra attention because she also missed her playmate and friend. She didn't want to eat and would wait at the door for Mudd to come out with her. I think trying to help her get over not having Mudd around and go back to eating and not moping and looking for her, helped me as well. I still miss her and it has been 3 years. She was my companion when my husband was out of country. She was so sweet and would come and lie by the bed till I would go to sleep and then go to her crate to sleep. Always lying by my feet and wanting to be where I was. I guess you don't stop missing them, you just finally realize that life goes on and that was a special time and bond with her. Mudd was my dog as she was not so close to my husband since he was gone so much when she was young. Gertie, makes sure she she divides her time up between my husband and I. She makes us laugh and we both enjoy her equally.
Of course Brawler will always be in your heart. Brawler was very lucky and you were lucky to have him.

Belinda- I think what you are doing is good. Connect with your family - take walks with your husband. Remember Brawler and his love. Don't rush to change things around in your house. You will know if and when the time comes to move his stuff. My Samson passed suddenly several years ago and like Diane Sue said it just takes time.

New #30
Today's workout was Coffey Fit Raw Tabata weights, 36 minutes, 159 calories, met 4.0, 842 steps. I then did Kelly's 30 minutes to fitness lean body circuits mix hi/lo, 20 minutes 127 calories, met 5.8, heart rate average 140, max 155, 1,969 steps. Total time 56 minutes, calories burned 286. I have a lot to do today so needed this to not be too long.
I really liked the format of Tabata Weights. Time went by quickly.
Weights Rounds 1-3 timed at 20 seconds per exercise no rest between
1 arm row 15# heavy
bench press 15#
biceps 12# dbs (I think Kelly uses 10's)medium
lateral and front raise 8# dbs light
squats 15#dbs heavy
suitcase dead lift 15# dbs heavy
round 4 and 5 raise weights to 20 heavy, 15,medium, light 10
same exercises except biceps are supinated curls and front lateral raise is just lateral raise
round 6 is not timed and all the exercises done as in 4 and 5 are done at 12 reps each

Thank you, Diane Sue! I am so sorry you had to go through this with Mudd . Rudd sound like a special girl too. You probably right, I couldn't do anything else for Brawler.I wished I could have done more for him. I just miss him. Today marks week 2 of his passing. I still have Chu Chu, he is also adapted from the same place Brawler came from. He misses Brawler too. Chu Chu isn't as friendly as Brawler was. He changed a lot since Brawlers passing. Brawler will always be in my heart. I was lucky to have him.

Doreen, nice workouts. I am never good at doing a workout in the evening. I just have a hard time making myself do it.

Hi everyone,

Yesterday and today DD and I took an hour walk outside. Keeping it light for awhile.

Diane Sue - thank you for your support.! Great job yesterday.

I will be back tomorrow.

Today I did Coffey Fit Raw Just Step 25 minutes, heart rate average 136, max 159, 161 calories, met 5.8, 2,183 steps. I followed this with Ice Low Impact sweat workout 2 skipping the warm up , 22 minutes, heart rate average 128, max 159, met 5.9, 144 calories, 1,385 steps. Total time was 47 minutes, 305 calories. I had my appointment for the thyroid ultrasound and dexa scan this morning.

Belinda, the walks are probably better for the knees and walking with your daughter probably gives someone to talk to and relieve some sadness.
