Are you having problems with low music w/ the Hard Core series even after you did changes to your DV

Some of mine are fine whereas some aren't. To name a few, Muscle Max and Core Max were fine - however, KickMax and the Gym Style: Chest&Triceps were NOT fine. Terri

Cathe, SNM!! Is music volume supposed to be this low?

I'm so not a complainer and I generally only lurk over here rather than post... Just to give a bit of background, I have every one of Cathe workouts and am a true die-hard fan of all of them. That being said, however.....I am one of the disappointed ones when it comes to the volume of...

    IBS anyone?

I am only way too familiar with IBS/colitis having had this since I was about 15 years old (I'm now 45!). My problem was like Jes also - in that I didn't have acid problems per se, but I was either extremely constipated or the exact opposite. Strangely enough, I would say the first 15...

Oh no my super sets dvd

Yup, mine too....the outside packaging says "Supersets", but the DVD inside says "Timesaver". :( :( :( Terri

I know, this is probably illegal

Would absolutely LOVE a killer floorwork workout by Cathe, maybe incorporating the medicine ball, stability ball, ankle weights, etc. Terri

    Floorwork

I second this one....would LOVE like a 30-40 minute workout of all butt/hips/thigh work using ankle weights, stability ball, WHATEVER! Terri

Is there a replacement move I can do for those Terminator Squat Thrusts in BC???

Thanks so much to all of you (and especially Cathe herself!) for responding to my question. I've tried slowing them down, and the move just doesn't seem to work for me. Cathe, I think I'll try your suggestion and I'm sure that will work just fine! Thank you again! Terri

Is there a replacement move I can do for those Terminator Squat Thrusts in BC???

I truly have hesitated on asking this, but my body just REFUSES to do those terminator squat thrusts no matter how hard I try (too spastic???). Is there a replacement move I can do to at least keep my heart rate up during that section? Thanks! Terri

    Learning step patterns

My key for learning new step patterns is to ALWAYS learn anything new on a lower step height. I generally use a 6" step, but whenever I'm trying out a new step workout, I always lower it to 4". And the other suggestion of rewinding and doing it over and over and OVER until you get it works...

    PUB-sore hands

Just an FYI....I've done PUB now twice since that first time, and my hands aren't as sore....??? AND I absolutely LOVE this workout!!! Terri

    PUB-sore hands

Susan: I just wanted to add that I felt exactly the same way after doing the PUB workout. I have no idea why it's happening... FYI, I also always wear weightlifting gloves so that's definitely not the problem. Terri

    The S+H Blues...

I agree....some weeks it's just way too tough to try and incorporate both PH *and* the S&H series. When I do the S&H series (which I love!), I will do one week with the PH and then two weeks without it. Sometimes life just gets in the way of our workout routine! Terri

    Planks

If this is something you'd really like to conquer, another thought might be to try a beginner Pilates workout. I've noticed that planks are much easier for me now that I've been doing Pilates workouts a few times a week (and trust me, I'm still in the beginner/intermediate stage!) The other...

Battling depression and maintaining healthy lifestyle

I would love to talk to you all about this. I'm 42 now, but have suffered from depression my whole life. I was put on medication about 8 years ago and have not come off it since. It truly has been a lifesaver for me... Anyway, my email address is [email protected] Thanks.

    W/O Twice a Day

Rhonda: I do this a few times a week (definitely not every day though!) I will do a weight workout and/or an aerobic workout in the early a.m. before going to work and then tack on a Pilates/yoga workout later on in the day after work. I don't know why, but when I do a Pilates or yoga workout...

    A little bit about ourselves..

Wow, I love reading about all of you! My turn: I'm 42, turning 43 on December 22nd. I'm on my second (and hopefully last!) marriage to my sweetie of 4 years. We have 3 sons combined (second marriage for both of us) and a wonderful 3 year old German shepherd named Zak. I work full-time as...

    Spliting S&H OK?

Well, I'm definitely not Cathe, but I just wanted to let you know that I do this ALOT! I usually end up over-sleeping in the morning and can only get in like 1/2 of the S&H workout, so will do exactly as you stated....do one portion in the morning and the next portion later on in the day...

    Slow and Heavy Series...RULES!!!!

Ah, Chanel glossimers....the best! As Anna said, they last a really long time, especially for a gloss. I also think they moisturize your lips as my lips have never been softer until I started using them. They're very versatile...Most of the time, I just use a lipliner and then fill in with...
