    Fit Bit

I got the Fitbit Ultra for Christmas (a gift to myself!) and I absolutely love it! It's totally motivating. Last night I needed around 300 steps to hit 10,000 for the day,so before I went to bed I just wandered all over the house aimlessly until I got the steps I needed.:) I also love the...

    Who else loves their Keurig?

I love my Keurig also! I never even liked coffee until we got our Keurig. :) I love having a variety of choices. It's also fun when you have guests and you can let them choose what flavor they want. I use it a lot just for hot water for tea. Two of my favorite coffees are Kahlua and Wolfgang...

    Anyone use bareMinerals make up?

I love Bare Minerals! I've used it for quite awhile now and will use it until someone pries it from my dead hands... I sometimes get compliments on what "beautiful skin" I have and I always say, "trust me, it's not my skin, it's the makeup". :) It's light and covers up all flaws but looks...

    WEN alert (a good deal)

Thanks to these Wen threads, my bank account is getting depleted...:p For those of you who use 613, what exactly is it? Does it work like the regular cleansing conditioners or is it something extra that you only use once in awhile? Also, is it available on QVC only once in awhile or have they...

    Bunion surgery?

Laura, so sorry about your foot problems! I'd loan you my feet, but I've been having problems with my toes hurting, and I also have bunions, so you might not want them...:D My sister had bunion surgery on her one foot and after around 6 weeks recuperation, she was totally fine. No more pain...

    Fun Poll...Doggie Roll Call!

I have a 10-1/2 year-old yellow lab named Casey. He's the best dog I've ever had, and I'm getting a little sad since he's getting up there in age and is starting to slow down a little. He and I are joined at the hip...:)

Two Pit Bulls Just Killed My Cat

OMG...I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes. I'm so sorry for your loss. That kitty didn't deserve that horrible death... Hopefully they'll find those dogs. Take comfort in knowing that you made her life special, and she loved you for it. Take care.

    Coconut Oil?

I agree that you should get the raw, unrefined. I use the Spectrum brand. Tastes just like coconut...sooooo good! I actually lick the spoon after I'm done measuring it out.:D I agree with Kathryn - it makes the best popcorn!

    cleansers?

About 10 yrs ago I used a Colon Cleanse product and ended up with elevated liver enzymes, a high fever, and jaundice. I took the bottle to the doc during one of my many doctor visits and he said that it didn't appear that the ingredients were harmful, but he never did determine the exact cause...

    Pre-Sale?

Welcome, Gobias! Not SNM here, but usually a pre-sale is a better value than if you waited for when they actually go on sale. Also, the pre-sale people's orders get mailed first, when the actual orders start going out. You pay at the time you order during the pre-sale, and then wait until...

Do I want the Push Pull Tower?

That's a great price! I love my tower.:D I use it for pull-ups, (it feels very secure when doing these..) for the barbell work in STS, and it's great for barre work. I'm only 5'1", so I can't speak to the height issue,:) but I think it's one of the best fitness investments I've made.

    Raw Protein Advice?

This morning I tried it again... I used probably 1/4 of the recommended amount and combined it with chocolate rice protein.(thanks, Kathryn) I also threw in ice, a banana, frozen cherries, a few cranberries, flax seeds, flax-borage oil, and a few almonds, and peanut butter (thanks, Stephanie)...

    Raw Protein Advice?

Kathryn, that's a good idea to combine it with another protein powder and to use less of it. I'm willing to try anything at this point! Lrusso, I'm sorry you don't like it either, but I'm glad to know that it's not just me! Looks like there'll be a lot of plugging and gulping going on!!!:D:D

For anyone who has the Pull/Push Tower

I love my tower! It's great with STS for all the barbell work (but I agree I wouldn't use it as a squat rack), and pull-ups, but I also use mine as a ballet bar for barre workouts. One of the best fitness purchases ever! It's very easy to take apart and move around, also.
