I firmly believe that living inside of me is a thin person wanting, no aching to come out. She was there when I was younger and I still sense her presence. When I look in the mirror I don't see her and I don't see her when I'm getting dressed.

That's the reality that let's me know I need to do better exercising, I need to do better eating a more healthy diet, and above all I need to do better when it comes to making time for me so I can do all of those things I just said ...

You know, weight loss is a lot like everything else in life. You go along just fine and then you hit a bump. Well, I started out exercising, dedicated, had a plan and a schedule. That all sounds good right? Well, now I'm battling human nature. I just haven't had the will power this week to just say no to donuts, candy and nuts.

The good thing about all of this is I still exercised. So I imagine I gained no ground and maybe, just maybe I managed to stay even or not lose too...

You know, it's so easy to get off track. I started a few weeks ago so motivated and determined to work out every single day (well, all most every single day) and to eat better.

I just finished spring break and a slight illness which didn't help the plan, but I am back on track. I didn't exercise for a week because I was sick. You know how you feel like you should do something even though you're sick? Well, I tried but got so light headed and winded I thought it was probably...

I think I'm in constant struggle with the weight fairy. I know there is a weight fairy that comes and gifts me with weight at various times throughout the year, usually while I'm asleep . I try to eat smaller portions, healthier food and work out on a regular basis. It sometimes seems that no matter what I do, the weight just doesn't or won't come off. In fact it seems I tend to gain weight when I'm desperately trying to lose it the most.

I know it may take a while...

I seriously committed to working out whenever I could last week. I didn't always have the time I wanted but I figured some exercise is better than no exercise. I did Cathe's Body Fusion and Rhythmic Step (couldn't do all of it), some Firm and ran on my treadmill 4 out of 7 days last week. Not as good as I would have liked but better than nothing.

I seriously need to change my expectations. I want instant results and that isn't going to happen. I need to view this as a lifestyle...
