I am looking forward to getting to Body Balance this arv as my hips have been sore this week. I've had a couple of weeks off due to family committments and have found that I really need that time out to stretch once a week.

Monday's training is as follows:

Fitball squats 3 x 16, 15 kg dumbbells
One arm rows 3 x 16, 15 kg
Backward lunge 3 x 16, 10 kg
Chest press on fitball 3 x 16, 10 kg
Step ups 3 x 16, 10 kg plate
One arm squat press 2 x 16, 5 kg, 1 x 16, 7.5 kg
Lower body twist 3 x 16
Leg extension 3 x 16
Plank 3 x 1 min
Hero moment
5 min run on the tready increasing speed every minute. Highest speed 11.5 km/hr - not bad considering...

On Saturday I did a leg workout that I had gotten from my previous trainer awhile back. It is called her 'El Basico Leg and Ab workout'. Today I'm reminded how the effective the simple things are as I am suffering a nice little case of DOMS - and I didn't really work to my full capacity. When doing the 12wbt, Mish would talk about 'paralysis by analysis' which I guess is similar to the KISS principle.
