Good day to pick for day 1 (not). But you have to start some time. We're going for an overnight trip that includes a 4 hour drive each way. That means I need to do my workout this morning, pack us, and pack food (can't rely on restaurants and rest stops to provide the right kind of nutrition), and get as prepared as possible for Monday morning when I go back to work and the kids go to daycamp. I'm going to bring a couple of nutrition books to review during the car ride, and plan my nutrition...

I've recently begun eating vegan (again), and immediately lost about 5lbs. Then I started allowing sugar back in. And dairy (in desserts and baked goods). I've spent the last week on vacation from work, had my birthday, and the sugar/fat in my diet has become unacceptable. How quickly that happens. This is not the way to treat my body. Out of respect for myself, I need to clean up the food again. I have a goal: 15 pounds to lose. If I'd only stuck with my plan, I'd be almost there by now....
