    I have all the DVD's made -- I had more workouts on VHS, but I sadly traded them away because I don't have a VCR anymore. I keep hoping Cathe will put some of those oldies on DVD -- like the Wedding workout and Mega Step BLast and Rock Bottoms.

    Holy god! I think you have more Cathe workouts than Cathe made! I don't know how that's possible, but it's gotta be!

    I have to resize my newer pictures somehow so I can post them. I have pictures of Grimmy with a shaved butt and a cone on his head, and the butt after the hair grew back. I'll figure out a way to get them on soon! I just posted in my blog that a got a new kitty. She is actually Scamper's littermate (Scamper is the gray kitty with white chest and feet).

    LOL--slut! That is too cute!!! Oh my goodness, my siamese is a lover too. The tabby (Izzy) is a "freak". He just wigs out. He's named after the comedian Eddie Izzard.

    My kitty's name is Grimmy. He's one of 3 cats I have. He is such a lover, we jokingly call him a slut because he'll love up to anyone. This spring he went outside for an hour and came home with his tail missing! We took him to the vet to have the last bit of tail amputated, and he had a shaved rear and a cone on his head for a few weeks. Now that would drive a normal cat nuts, but Grimmy is still just as sweet and friendly as ever and he wanted to go back outside as soon as we got home from the vet. Can you believe that? He sleeps under the covers with his head on the pillow, just like a person. I love my other 2 kitties, but Grimmy is my favorite.

    I stopped teaching aerobics after moving to Texas in 1996. None of the videos I had tried matched the intensity of my own workouts until I ordered Power Max from the Collage Video catalog in 1997. I was instantly hooked!

Well, the indulgences of the holidays are gone and I am back to my pre-holiday weight. I feel so much better, although the cookies and goodies consumed over Christmas were almost worth it. I'm itching to start running, but I'm giving it a couple more weeks, because I will be working a lot for other people the next few days. My first couple of races will be St Patty's Day dashes... A 5 miler on Saturday March 13th and a 5K Sunday March 14th. Can't wait!

As I continue the fitness journey, the busy me will often reach for an energy bar or protein shake -- something that does not resemble real food.

How refreshing it was to make myself lunch today -- not from a box, but from the skillet. I had pan fried potatoes with egg, saugage and cheese. Comfort food, most definitely.

...well, the eggs were actually egg beaters
...the sausage was reduced fat frozen sausage links cut up in chunks
...but the cheese was...

I have posted before about how my menstrual cycle affects me -- I don't get bitchy or angry -- but all the energy is sucked from my body and I find it to be a large effort to just get up and walk across the room. Looking at the calendar, I would have just ovulated about 2 days ago, so I can expect this for the next week and a half. Once my period begins, I am OK again. I shouldn't have to be a prisoner to my cycle like this. I'll admit, I overtrained last year and had a span of time when I didn't...

I thought about keeping Megan for the weekend since I didn't have to work, but she mentioned she wanted to see him -- so we set it up so we'd meet at the McDonalds and he'd pick her up. He is not to come into my house -- because it takes me calling the police to get him to leave. So we show up, and he gets into my car and now won't leave... asking me what I'm going to do this weekend -- assuming I'll be with a guy or something. I tell him it's none of his business and he's getting mad. So I start...

Ahhh -- it feels so good to be back on track -- this is what my body craves, this is what my soul craves. Working out and eating right just feels good right now. I have lost about 8 pounds since Xmas -- I know a large part of that was PMS water retention, but still I feel much better! I still haven't been on a run since October, and I'm still going to wait about a month or so to make sure my ankle feels OK. I ordered both Insanity and P90X -- but I don't know when I am going to try them. I just...
