I'm not cleaning anymore today. I'm going to read to the kids and we also need to start watching our Lewis and Clark documentary. I just got done reading a great biography of Meriwether Lewis (he came to such a sad end) and I look forward to seeing footage of all the areas described, although I'm sure much has changed since their trek across the US.

Stephanie--that's good news! You can rest more easy now.

Candra--At least your little guy gets dressed. My ds 4 1/2 thinks that "dressed" means underpants. Oh well, last year I was struggling to keep him from being naked all the time (the results of my unconventional method of potty training). You'll really enjoy the pool, I think, so get out there and do what you gotta do:)

Kate--Yes, the cleaning feels good, but it depresses me how bad I let things getx(. I wish I had a system to stay on top of it better during the school year.

Hi everyone else!

Maggie:)

Maggie, by 4 year old hates clothes too. Oh, and that way to keep on top of housework? That's called a maid. I don't have one either. :(

Please don't feel bad about cleaning. My theory is that something has to give, and I don't want it to be time with my kids, me not cooking healthy meals, or not taking care of ourselves. My sister's MIL had a major heart attack last night. she is alive but it terrible shape. She was a single mom, worked 3 jobs to raise her children, but did not take care of herself. Her faovirte meal per her son? Steak and frosting for dessert. Can you think of a better way to have a heart attack? So don't worry about the cleaning...
Oh and my ds doesn't like clothes, period.

Trish, Nice evening for you guys! I bet you are really missing your DH though!

Maggie, You sound like you have a nice evening too. I bet your kids are great - wish I could meet you all. I have a house cleaner that comes once a week. Now that I'm not working so much I'm going to have her come every other week. It helps so much. But there is still other stuff she doesn't do that I get so far behind on. I'm soooooo glad to not be working quite so much anymore. Now if I could just get DH to quit expanding the business!! He is so stressed all the time.

Mikkia, So sorry about sisters MIL. How awful. Is sisters DH doing okay?

Maggie, I think you and I have the same potty training method. I took diapers away and let my boys run around naked. It worked like a charm both times. I also have the same problem keeping up with housework and I don't homeschool:-)

Mikkia, sorry about your sister's MIL. It never pays not to take care of yourself.

Kate, sorry about the stretch marks. So far I have never gotten one. I have this pregnancy gotten spider veins on my legs, it is not very attractive. Avon has a cream that is supposed to help them, it's probably a waste of money but I am going to try it:-)

Candra-there is this stuff called bio-oil(I think)a friend of mine swears by it for stretch marks, spider veins all sorts of stuff. I am already getting the spider veins too. Must be extra blood volume.
maggie-did Candra's potty training method work for you too? i'll try that next time. My method did not work at all.
BIL is in a little bit of denial. He however wants her to move to Dallas to live with them. Sister not so happy but what do you do? I don't know if I posted w/o today-Bootcamp. Went okay, just no umph!

Mikkia, I will have to check out the bio-oil. Is it in drugstores? Or do I need to order it from somewhere? Good for you getting a workout in. During the first trimester I went a couple of weeks with only working out once.

Another vote for letting kids run naked for potty-training! Works great!

Candra, My pg SIL has some wicked veins on her legs right now. Guess I'll take the tummy stretch marks that I can hide!

Mikkia, Good for you doing a WO!

I just finished MM UB. Felt good. Part of me wanted cardio but my belly wasn't havin' it, plus it's time to work UB. CS/Bar tomorrow. My round ligaments are sore so I'll need a trip to the chiro in the morning.
