Susan, Kara the Smurf that wouldn't nurse? LOL That's a silly dream!!! As far as I know, Smurfette was the only female Smurf....

Hope everyone had a great day, I'm back to work tomorrow (then four days off)!!!!

Melanie-I have always been an early riser..even as a kid... and apparently Haley has taken after dh and me...she got up at 5:45 this morning!

Hlaey is already talking my ears off..Im sure she will keep me busy today!

Hey ladies! The weekend is here! Woo hoo! After the week I had at work I am so relieved to be at home!

Susan- I have been having WACKY dreams too! I haven't hardly dreamt this whole pregnancy but when I finally do fall back asleep they are strange! I couldn't even begin to interpret them.

Melanie- Sorry about your friend bailing on you! I'm with Susan, I don't like feet either so I can't offer. I have continued to try and clean up the lower area and have had a few "sliced up" incidents! Don't know why I continue trying cause nothing is really happening in that area either. Wishful thinking I guess....

Off to clean up around house and just organize to feel less stressed! Have a good one!

Hi everyone!

Heading back up to Chicago today. Dad now has a trach (sp?) so it's really hard communicating with him. I went last night and videotaped their new house so I'll show that to him today. They already told us it will be months before he can go home which means he'll miss the baby being born and it will be harder for me to see him. Just frustrating.

I know what you all mean about doing your nails. I asked my DH if he would do it and he agreed but the more I think about it-it may end up looking like my 3yr old did it. So, I think I'll just go natural too. And if I didn't shave my legs everyday I'd have to braid it!

Susan - sorry you won't get to see your mom.

Melanie - Sorry your friends didn't show up - how frustrating. So your doctor will give you a note to get out of work?

Allison - I'm using the mattress I used with my DD and i agree w/ Melanie that as long as it's in good condition it should be fine.

Christine- I hope you get feeling better soon!

Jen - I hope you'll get to enjoy a nice restful weekend.

Priscilla - I hope you have fun at the prenatal class-I really learned alot but it can seem overwhelming.

Dawn - Good luck - your time is coming! Have you started "nesting" yet? I remember with DD the day before I went into labor I cleaned my house like I'd never done before.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Good Morning all!

I finally slept nice last night. I woke up a couple of times but fell asleep again pretty fast. Baby has been moving like crazy, I make my DH hugs me and he can feel him kicking and moving around. I'ts an awesome connection.

Wendy, sorry your dad will your baby being born. It seems like after all your dad is in good hands and lucky to have you around. I hope he recovers sooner than expected. Have a safe trip.

Melanie, talking about people not showing up, my DH's family called today and apparently they won't be able to come in Dec..... say no more....
Sorry you're having sporadic morning sickness, I have been feeling ok lately, extremely hungry and from time to time I get indigestion but no nausea lately

Christine, i'm sorry for all the stress you must be experiencing. I really hope you can sell that house soon!

Jen, I haven't dreamt about my baby either, I've heard people have dreams all the time and that they can even see their babies faces and everything. I do think about him all the time!

Dawn, great news!! baby is almost ready to come out. It's nice to know that baby is in a great position for vaginal delivery. That's what I'm hoping for us all!

Susan, it's better to be safe than sorry, specially now that you're in the homestretch. I hop your mom get better soon.

Hi buneknek, Kristine and the rest of the crew. You all have a great and long weekend

Hi girls!
Been kind of boring today. Dh is dove hunting and won't be home until dark..so Haley and I have been baking and playing. I made homemade granola bars and they are yummy!!!! I also just ate a bowl of cookies and cream ice cream! It hasnt been a good eating day so far! I am up 2 lbs ..but I expected it since I have held steady a few weeks.
I attemtped to walk 3 miles but only made it through 1. My hips were burning!

Wendy-sorry for all your frustration. I didnt know your dad would be in the hosital for so long! HOpe you had a nice visit with him today.

Pricilla-glad you got some sleep! Kara moves a LOT too. I am feeling kicks in my ribs all the time.

Haley and I are now playing "designer". I am the customer and she designs dresses for me. Was looking for a break from playing with my mom here

HI Jen-hope you are having a relaxing day..want some ice cream???? wait I ate it all!!

Hi, all.

Wendy, I'm so sorry to hear that your dad will be in the hospital for what sounds like a few more months. It must make his recovery even more challenging, not being able to be home.

Mel, that stinks that BOTH your friends blew you off

Priscilla, you didn't want your ILs to come in December anyway, right? Kind of a blessing in disguise

Susan, I'm ready to do some baking too (but nothing as wholesome sounding as granola bars LOL).

I'm chuckling at the references to painting toenails. I just painted mine tonight!! I find if I stand and put my foot up, I can hold my stomach to the side of my thigh/knee, allowing me to get close enough to the toe to see what's going on.

Still able to shave my legs, and tried to "neaten up" before my internal exam at 36 weeks. That was extremely difficult!

BRU is having a sale on clearance clothes -- buy 1, get one for $1 (Melanie, might be good for you if one is near you!).

Does anyone have a Joovy stroller? I've researching doubles of the sit and stand variety. The Joovy ultralight only weighs 21 pounds, which is very lightweight for a double. Just wondering if anyone has experience with the brand.
