Hi,
My daughter will be 18 months on Dec 8th. She's our first and only child. She is showing some interest in the potty and some awareness of what needing to pee means. I am hoping for some suggestions of potty training books that you all would recommend - that worked well for you and your kids. I have been looking on Amazon at all of them and I am not sure which one(s) to buy. Thank you in advance. Christine

I never purchased any books on potty training, I just watched for my daughter's cues and sat her little potty right in the living room and periodically took her to it during the day and sat her on it, and if she peed, I made a huge deal and clapped, the works!!
Some days she went, some days, she just stared at me like i was crazy...but she caught on pretty quickly and after only 3 weeks of that...she was going to the potty all by herself and only 2 months later, she was night trained! YAY! I'm one proud momma! Good luck to you...
