Christine-I made the asian turkey burgers and the edamame/corn thingie. DH and Haely did not like the burgers...I gave them a long lecture about how Jimmy loved them and Californians must have more sophisticated taste buds!! Dh did like the edamame/corn though. Did you do anything in particular to get Jimmy to eat like he does?? Im determined that Kara will eat what I cook/eat. Haley has gotten much better (she did eat the burger) but for years she lived off kid food.

Kara i fussy wanting to nurse..bb. getting a sinus headach..need meds..be back!

There's a kinship in this group -- we're not much for flowers here either! I used to get them more frequently (like a few times a year), but now? Not so much. I get workout clothes though -- and books -- and a weight vest!

Vaseline? On the feet? Oh, yuck!

Melanie, I've never tried Vaseline on my feet, but I swear by Body Glide. I did the Breast Cancer 3-Day twice, walking 40 miles a week for months to train, and 60 miles the weekend of the event. I put Body Glide on my feet before each walk and NEVER got a blister, even when walking 15 miles in the rain!

DH came home last night. Finally!! We had a fun night *wink*

And of course, Drew slept like a champ last night. We had to WAKE HIM UP at (are you ready for this?) 9:55 this morning. Stinker.

Allison and melanie- huge fan of body glide too. It works perfectly, I just wipe vaseline between my toes to save someoney! You really do not feel it. I like the thorlo dry wick running socks , similar to what Susan pored. I get them from zappos. Mel- athleta is indeed owned by gap now. I like their stuff but the sizes vary a bit. I saw a cute running dress I want to get.
Susan- so sad the burgers were not a hit. Did you at least like them? As for food with Jimmy and John, we always have fed them what we eat no separate meals unless dh is out of town. I use a hand food purée guy. John had garlic hummus, guacamole, sausage pizza and carrots today. I always have operated on the offer philosophy. Never pushed foods on them they ate them when ready. I got super into lentils because of you recently and Jimmy begged to try a bite and they were a hit!!! What do dh and Haley like? I can get you more appropriate recipes!

Christine, I'm doing a mere five miles tomorrow.

Big week coming up! My friend is coming Tuesday (for six days), inlaws are coming Friday (for five days), pediatric appt Wed (two hrs away), vet appt Thurs/dishwasher repair, work Tue & Thurs, Prom & fishing opener on Saturday. Lots of company = Lots of help with kids? I don't think I've ever had so much company.

Mel- dh and Jimmy going to grandmas next week. John can't travel so I stay home. Want to create a workout schedule to challenge each other? Thinking abs, IMAX, turbo jam, squeeze strongr?

Christine~ That sounds like fun! I'm "training" for that 10M...but I'm all for crosstraining a bit. I'm willing to do weight work if it doesn't make me too sore for my runs.
