What exactly is anaerobic ? Also I heard not to do interval training while pregnant. Is that correct? Thanks.
 
Anaerobic training is when you are working so hard that you're gasping for breath. Usually you can only maintain that level for a short period of time before you need to ease back for a recovery time. Interval training is not recommended during pregnancy. My understanding is that it can cause your core temp to go up too high. Plus if you're low on oxygen, even for a short time, so is baby. The object when doing cardio during pregnancy is to work comfortably hard without gasping for breath. I'm just a fellow member of our "educated crowd," so if I have something wrong, I'm sure one of our resident experts will jump in and help us both out. :)
