Hi Fitness friends,

I wanted to let you all know that Rep Reebok is now available through dynamix www.dynamixmusic.com just seen it in my catalog that I received today! This program use to only be available through www.homeworkout.com
(which is a wonderful site for all fitness enthusiasts and instructors who want Cec's etc--so be sure to check that site as well ;-)and bookmark it!

This is great news for me(and hopefully you) I always get gift certificates for dynamix and can now get more workout programs --woo-hoo! Never have enough ;-)

If you are unfamiliar with the Rep Reebok programs check out http://www.ginmiller.com/gmfnew2/FitPros/strength/repreebok.htm (her site is educating as well ;-) definielty bookmark this too!
in a nutshell it's a pre choreographered class with music(like bodypump only in that format only (moving with the rythm)--in Rep Reebok you get to use all kinds of different equipment and you periodize your training--
**This is a wonderful program especially for new instructors ! It's all there for you, all you have to do is add your own style and change exercises if needed for your participants needs!***

If you are an instructor/gym owner you can have workshops/certifications in you gym, there are no liscensing fees--just have to pay for the instructor ;-) and of course your own music(which comes with video and choreography notes) http://www.clubreebok.com/university_rep_reebok.asp

For the workshop/cert I had Robert Sherman ,http://www.robertshermansfit.com/roberts_workshops.htm it was fun learning all the options and alternatives you can use.(bars, balls, bands bosu, discs, core boards, you name it plus It's been a while since we used the reebok core boards so I was like a kid in a candy store ;-)
Other instructors that I know that teach the workshop/cert are Leigh Crews,Petra Kolber and Lisa wheeler, there are many others too you just have to do a google search for Reebok Master Trainers or contact them personally

Hope you find this info useful,
You can either just buy the program for $55 , take the cec online at www.homeworkout.com ( very informative manual that comes with 2 educational vids )or have a workshop, either way you can't go wrong!
(I personally love workshops, they keep me on top of my game }(

I had no idea anything like this existed, thanks for sharing!

And speaking of sharing, since you are known around the site for being so encouraging to those of us trying to break into the fitness business (I am beginning to work as a trainer and group fitness instructor at the local YMCA) ... I am always trying to figure out the best way to spend my time and money as far as fitness education goes. In your opinion, which organizations have you found to provide the best quality education for your money? Home education is so tempting because you can get it right away, but it seems that a live workshop would be even better!

Appreciate your opinion...

Rhonda

Hope you are enjoying the links;)

I love REP Reebok. Unfortunately my Vol 2 music CD has a scratch and now won't play properly....x( :(

You can get the scratch filler to fix it right up! I had the same thing happen to me and it worked great.
I now copy any dvd I get right away on a tape just for back up to hold me over!;-)
PS do you know how to copy and paste our choreography notes from the cd into an email? TIA
