please help..ellipticalls

I am looking for an eliptical (cardio) to go with my bowflex for my mix of workouts, which is either you, or the machines. do you have any opinions on ellipticals that I could use for cardio,say like before one of your harder weight training workouts????? please help, THANKS, JC

The best rated elliptical for Consumer Reports is the Schwinn 418 Elliptical machine. I have it and it works great.

It was Consumer Reports Best Buy. I am a big beleiver in Consumer Reports and have never been let down with one of it's listed Best Buys.

Hi moondance,

Goodluck with your decision. I never used an elliptical before I purchased mine. My dh tried it out for me. I love it! It was certainly a great addition to my workout room. I like my purchase but If I were to do it again, I would try out others first. Since I have little experience with ellipticals I'll hold my recommendation. I just wanted to weigh in on how nice they are for crosstraining.

Moondance--you might want to check out arc trainers as well. The principle is the same as the elliptical but it has options that make the intensity of the workout much higher.

Of course, they're more expensive, but IMO well worth it.
