NJ weather in July?

What is the weather like in NJ in July? I am trying to figure out how much shopping I need to do for the trip. The weather here (Illinois) is muggy and hot in July. Just plain nasty!

I live about 30 minutes south of "Catheland" and it's pretty much what everyone else has said: Hazy, hot and humid!

Oh, joy! I'm definitley going to have a red face. I haven't had to workout in a humid climate for 5 years. Yikes!

Like everyone says, hazy, hot, and humid--UNLESS we're having a strange summer, and then it'll be 70ish and raining and chilly. I remember one summer when I lived in NJ--I think there were only 2-3 weekends where it was actually warm enough to swim in the outdoor pool in my condo complex.

This year, so far May was cold and rainy and this first week of June is colder than normal--60s to low 70s.

(Just call me Miss Doom and Gloom!)
