Great room Catherine!!! Isn't it great to have a room of your own to workout in? I know mine's my sanctuary My newest addition to mine should be coming today or tomorrow. It's my new Smooth elliptical!! I'm so excited! Enjoy your new space.

It looks beautiful....Quick question...1 who is your pull up rack by and does it double as a squat rack? and do you love the flooring? I'm thinking of replacing my carpet in my workout area with gym flooring, but Im not sure if its worth it? Any thoughts

I have a pullup tower and a power rack (that has a pullup bar on it). The power rack is by power tech, or power tec? Yes it is a cage made for squatting, benching dips etc. I just got it and DH put it together today. I wanted it because of the saftey catches. I am sure there will be a learning curve for squatting in a cage. The flooring are the foam puzzle mats from Lowes. So far I like them for cardio. I noticed my feet slipping the other day when I was incline benching using my step, so I may have to place a rug down to prevent that. All in all it's good!!

Awesome workout room, Catherine!

Quick question! I see you have a Bowflex! I have been working out on the Bowflex over three weeks , (all my free weights are in Germany!) I don't get any DOMS at all? I lift more on the Bowflex than I would with my DB or BB! I don't get? I don't know what I am doing wrong! Do you like working out on the BF?

Belinda, I haven't really worked out on my Bowflex for years. But I do remember that I could do heavier wts on the BF vs DBs and I don't remember ever getting sore. As a matter of fact when I stared with free wts it was a big eye opener Now that being said, I still think you can get a good workout on the BF.

Thanks Catherine! I feel like I am not working out at all on the BF! I am waiting every day for the DOMS to kick in, but nothing! I have no choice! I do have to work out on the BF until I return back to Germany! I do miss my free weights and BB!
