Looking for Cyndie

She is home from the hospital thank goodness. Still very weak though. She seems very committed to smoking abstinence. She is struggling and will continue to do so with congestive heart failure. Anyone not totally familiar with this may not realize it is an irreversible condition. I don't know how much she will improve with her emphysema. I am just grateful that she is still with me. Aside from my wonderful angelic husband, she is my pillar of strength and support. Thanks so much for asking. I certainly appreciate the support I am receiving on this forum.

Best wishes to you and your family, cyndie

Cyndie, I lost my dad a few years back to heart disease and emphysema. He never could kick those smokes. I quit a few years before he died. Your mom can do it! She will be my prayers. It sounds like she has a good support group and she's motivated. I wish you all the best as she recovers her health and, heaven knows, ANYTHING is possible if you have faith! The human body is a marvel. She CAN heal.
