What a GREAT series!! I just love it!! It is so versatile and so much fun!!

I haven't done it "as is" yet. I've been doing a one-body-part-per-day type rotation and have been using the upper body weights sections of CTX to accompany a couple other upper body workouts from other Cathe DVDs. Each day I do about 30-35 minutes of one body part, then about 20 minutes of a CTX cardio routine and one CTX ab routine. I get a challenging, fat burning, fun workout in about 60-65 minutes.

I just had to share because I went back and forth with my decision to get this series. If you are on the fence, seriously consider buying it. The step routines are very fun-challenging but not too complicated. The weightlifting sections are excellent-quick but effective-about 10 minutes each. The Ab routines are wonderful! My favorites are the Abs from the kickboxing and the Power Circuits. Finally, it has Leaner Legs on it. 'Nuff said.

I have been resisting buying this series for months. You're not helping matters!

Same here! I'm hoping I can get some of this series when the Workout Blender comes out.

I recently bought this too. Really like it. Reminds me of old Spa Lady days (1980's) in a good way. Some of the old moves, that feel new again. Meaner/Leaner legs is great, too, did it this week in Cathe's rotation.

Glad I have it.

I had thought about this one when it was on the Aug rotation, but decided to wait. Maybe I will reconsider it again now....

Just saw this thread and had to add my 2cents. I just started this series & am loving it. I'm training to walk a marathon in November. I workout in the a.m. with one of Cathe's DVDs & walk in the p.m. with a long walk on the weekend; so CTX fits in perfect. workouts are not too long so as not to overtrain & I get cardio & strength in an hour or less. I definitely would recommend it.

Default Still crazy about CTX after all these years

There are still parts of the CTX series that I do on a weekly or semi-weekly basis after all these years. I too absolutely love the CTX-Kickbox plank and core/ab routine, and my favorite cardio is the CTX 10-10-10 kickbox warm-up and hi/lo (man, is that hi/lo mean! that's a compliment, cathe), as well as the power circuit segment from . . . well, Power Circuit.

I think we all get so caught up in the more recent releases that we forget Cathe coughed up a ton of highly effective, intense workouts years ago; in fact, effectiveness and intensity have always been her brand. Personally I don't care if the music sounds or the hair/outfits look "dated"; if it makes me bleed it's wonderful.

If you like CTX and haven't tried my next suggestion, do consider the original Body Max. Unbelievable.

CTX is a great series. I really like the short and intense cardio. I just LOVE power circuit. The only one I've done quite regularly... until I got hurt. Since APRIL! Waahh... heel spur, anyone?

Like Nancy,
I have been resisting buying this series as well.
It has been hard. Advanced Workouts had it on sale for $74.95. I am really trying to resist.
