Thumbs up Who still enjoys "old school" Cathe vids?

I am a big fan of the old school Cathe (MIC, original Body Max, original Imax). I find even though these workouts are dated, they are very straight forward, fun & get the job done without any fancy moves. I don't mind the music or clothes, I actually like the "blast from the past"

Who still does Cathe old school? What's your favorite?

Default Old School Love

I go to Max Intensity Strength a lot for a great, solid weight workout. I also love the original Imax - you can always count on them to really sock it to you.

I like Step Jam (on the Classics Volume #1 DVD) because it has easy-to-follow step choreography, provides a good, long cardiovascular challenge (one segment is 19 minutes long), and the impact is not too high (no need to ice my knees afterwards).

I love many of Cathe's old DVD's. I even just ordered KPC/Legs and Glutes and Supersets/Push and Pull. I'm even thinking about Xtrainer Xpress because of the price. I like her older workouts because they are so straightforward whereas some of the newer ones can get a bit complicated for me. I own all her new ones, but I find I'm always reaching back for older videos.

I love Cathe's old workouts... as you said.. they are uncomplicated and I like that.

I'm doing Pure Strength this week and it's fantastic. It's my first time using this series. It was recommended to me by a friend as "pure gold."

Cathe looks so cute in her short curly hair and she and Cedie look so young.. lol. Not that they look old now, but you know what I mean....

Default Pure Strength

I've been really interested in getting Pure Strength. Can you tell me how many reps and sets of each exercise are in the workout?

Thanks for the heads up-I too can't knead my knees anymore and need to be careful. I just ordered the Classic Volume as I was looking for a lower impact, moderate choreographed step workout. But now I wanna get the lace shorts some of the workout crew is wearing

Looking through the responses, it's funny which workouts some people refer to as old school Cathe!

I enjoy any Cathe workout I do as each has something different to offer. However, I don't find myself reaching for her older workouts as often only because I've been doing some of her recent rotations which make use of newer stuff.
