Tricep Dips

To Cathe and all the educated crowd,

Previously, I have been doing tricep dips on a 8" bench. Recently, I bought additional 2 sets of risers. I have noticed that doing tricep dips at 12" step makes the exercises a lot easier for me. I am wondering whether the step height is too high for me (BTW, I am 5' 0"); therefore, I am recruiting different muscle.

Thanks for your all your input.

I just want to let you know that I have never enjoyed weight lifting until I bought your MIS tape. It was by chance that I decided to get it. Now I have every strength tape you made, except the wedding tape. I REALLY enjoy weight lifting now! Thank you a WHOLE bunch!

RE: Tricep Dips - suggestions

Hi, Haslina! Suggestion to make your triceps dips more intense:

Place both FEET on a 6"-8" platform, as well as your hands on your bench (8-12" is fine), and say hello to a whole new world! Also, when you get comfortable with that, place a barbell across your hips. Then, when you get comfortable with that, vary the tempo of the move: instead of down-up-down-up, try: down-down-down-UP for 8-16 reps, and/or down-UP-UP-UP for 8-16 reps.

Simpel but exceedingly effective progressive overloads . . .
