Supplemental Gym Exercises....

Hello Cathe!
Not that I'd ever stop using your videos, but I know you've most likely trained in the gym using whatever machines/equipment that have developed your lats/back and shoulders. What were they??
You mentioned in a previous post that you concentrate on these areas as they help create the illusion of a smaller waistline (compared to your hips). What exercises do you perfer to do now for maintenance for those areas?

Hi Myra! My back responds very positively to pull ups. There are actually a wide variety of dumbbell exercises for shoulder work and therefore do not need many machine for this muscle group. If I had to pick one machine that I like a lot, I would say the cables for side lateral raises or rear delt rope pull downs. For maintenance I continue to do pull ups and use dumbells for front delt raises, side lateral raises, rear delt flys, and overhead presses.
