Hi Cathe, I've been diagnosed with Illiotibial Band Syndrome and have a list of do's and don'ts from the doctor. I need to strengthen the gluteus medius but I'm not sure exactly which exercises do that. I'm guessing leg abduction? Squats and lunges are out for awhile, along with all cardio except a ski machine. I hope you can tell me which exercises I need to do.
