Cathe,
You might have already addressed this question before but I missed it. Do you base the height of the step on your preferred intensity level or your height? Speaking of intensity, received my videos today. Did the Cardio and Weights, liked the new moves. Music great! Doing the IMAX 2 tomorrow, already watched it, looks like fun. I like a challenge.

Hi Debbie! For step aerobics 8 inches is the highest recommended height. To decide if you should use 4,6,or 8 inches for step aerobics, listen to your body. You want to feel comfortable and free of any discomfort in your joints (most specifically, hip and knee). Also, the height that you select should keep you in your aerobic training zone.

As for the height when weight training with the mini step, you want to have it at a height that keeps your leg very close to a 90 degree angle when placed on the step.
