Rotations only using premixes

Cathe I love the new intensity series and thanks for the awesome chaptering and premixes. Due to a really intensely busy schedule I my time has been really tight. Can you suggest a rotation using the premix sequences?
Thanks to you and your crew for all the hard work you set the bar really high with these workouts.

That's a great idea! I have one hour in the morning, so anything that goes longer has to be cut down. I love to pack in as much as possible into that hour.

Any ideas, Cathe?
 
I am interested in a premix rotation also. Time is limited during the week for me and this type of rotation would be great.

Hi - I created the following workout tonight using pre-mixes.

This if the first time I have done this - and I haven't come up with a rotation but I am going to write down the workouts as I do them - maybe I'll end up with enough for a rotation.

Today I barely had an hour so I did Pyramid upper body split - 30 min. (this included the workout)

I needed a quick cardio and I didn't want step so I did the pre-mix kickbox only of bootcamp - I did it twice - it was approx. 15 min of an intense cardio workout. 15 min

then - I did the stretch from bootcamp and the stretch from pyramid upper - so - my workout took a little under an hour;)

This thread has inspired me to create new workouts now with the pre-mixes. Oh, the possiblities are endless!
 
Hey Carolyn! Check out jillybean's post in Video & DVD Rotations called DVD Total Body Ideas/Rotations. The last rotation on there is titled Pemix Max. It has all premixes for the rotation. Have a great day!

On the DVD's of the intensity series Cathe has "premixed" parts of the workouts (think like the firm parts tapes only a million times better) For instance rather than going to just triceps or just chest she'll have a mix that's all upper, all lower or On Bootcamp she even has a bootcamp/muscle endurance premix. You just click and go it makes the dvd's so worth the extra money. A lot of them are 40 -50 minutes which allows me to do the workout and shower & do hair (my hair is short) in an hour.

The reason I'm asking Cathe for some premix rotations is because I'm afraid I may overdo things if I do the wrong premixes back to back.



I'm telling you Cathe should get the equivalent of an Oscar for these (what would they call it, though any ideas?). I think the academy of video exercisers (AVE?) would all vote for her.

I have had a lot of time constraints lately it's made it tough to fit in a full hour so I've wanted to come up with a rotation using the premixes (bless you for making them) and kind of used your blast rotations to model it. Ideally I should keep it around 45 minutes (I went over a little on a couple of days). Let me know if you think these are okay or would you change some things? Any suggestions and/or advice would be appreciated.

Premix Intensity Rotations

ADVANCED: TOTAL OVERALL BODY BLAST ROTATION

Mon: boot camp lower & upper Vol 2 23 min
Tues: boot camp cardio Vol 2 20 min or off
Wed: muscle endurance express Vol 1 53 min
Thurs: imax2 intervals 1-5 or 6-10 34 min
Fri: timesaver compound & heavy weights 37 min
Sat: Pyramid Lower Body Up or Down 39 min
Sun: pyramid upper body up or down & abs 40 min

Advanced: total body conditioning – focus on heavy weight training

Mon: Pyramid lower body Up or Down 39 min
Tues: Pyramid upper body up or down & abs 40 min
Wed: imax 2 intervals 1-5 or 6-10 34 min
Thurs: off
Fri: cardio & weights & abs 49 min
Sat: pyramid lower body up or down 39 min
Sun: Pyramid upper body up or down & abs 40 min

Advanced: total body conditioning – focus on muscular endurance

Mon: Imax 2 1-5 or 6-10 40 min
Tues: cardio & weights & abs 49 min
Wed: Muscle endurance express 53 min
Thurs: off
Fri: Cardio& Weights & abs 49 min
Sat: cardio – lower intensity of your choice
Sun: muscle endurance express 53 min (if time entire ME)
