Reverse Crunch options

Hi Cathe, I find that it's hard to do the reverse crunches w/o swinging my hips. I once had an instructor do a crunch with legs bent, soles of feet pressed together (so your legs are kind of in a diamond shape) and she said this was for the lower abs. Do you know this exercise and do you think it is a good alternative to reverse crunches? Thanks for your answer. Kathleen

Hi Mason! Most exercises that have your legs up in the air will recruit a little more lower ab. If you are more comfortable with this exercise, then yes, do it instead.

Thanks for the reply. Just didn't want to be doing something for nothing.... Glad to hear all's going well w/your pregnancy by the way! Kathleen
