Hi, Cathe and Co.!
I have a question regarding lateral delt raises: before discovering La Cathe's strength training programs I always did my lateral delt raises with a long arm. However, several of Cathe's programs perform the lateral delt raises with the elbows bent 90-degrees, and imagining "emptying two pitchers". Are the middle delts working with equal intensity in either position? Or is one more effective than the other, given the same weight load?
I always thought the longer the lever and the further away from the core the weight load was, the harder the work. Yes? No?
Any input would be appreciated!
