Question regarding Endurance/Strength

I hear all the talk about an endurance workout or a strength building workout.

What do I want? I want definition in my arms. I probably only need to lose 5-8 pounds to be really lean. I am working on tht right now. Which type of workout is for me for definition?

Hi Sharon! There is no exact answer. Certain people respond better to certain types of training. There is no way to know exactly until you do them. But regardless of which method you prefer or respond better to, it is always good to include both approaches in your program at some point and/or to some degree, in order to cross train your muscles and keep them in overall peak condition.

Side note: Generally speaking, you can get good definition in your muscles from muscle endurance workouts and build nice lean muscle mass from strength workouts.

But you can also get great definition from strength workouts and increase strength gains to some degree from muscle endurance workouts. So you see, the two cannot be totally separated.
