Pinwheel Lunges

I just did my Bootcamp video with Mindy Mylrea, and she has you do pinwheel lunges (lunge to front, corner, side, back) with a bodybar. It feels somewhat awkward (maybe because I've never done them)- are they safe to do? I don't even really feel anything since we move onto the next position after 4 reps.

Hi lay! I hope you can understand that I don't feel it is appropriate for me to comment on another fitness professionals video, however, I will say that anytime a movement feels awkward to you, review exactly what it is that feels awkward and modify. For instance if it is the speed of the movement, slow it down, if it is a matter of discomfort re-evaluate your form. If your form is right and it still feels awkward then modify it to suit your needs by replacing it with another move that doesn't feel awkward to you. I hope this helps :)!
