Was Cathe a raving beauty or a geeky kid? Check out tomorrows Blog to find out. We will post several pictures taken in both the USA and Germany of Cathe as an infant and child.

Oh how fun! I love the blog! I love being able to keep track of your progress. Thanks for all the effort you're putting into this.

I always thought the actress who played the daughter on Judging Amy looked like Cathe's daughter or Cathe as a little girl.

My oh my....I see someone has been having some fun while I have been sweating my butt off this evening ;-)

Be prepared to laugh....a beauty queen I was NOT!!!! I have worn glasses since 4 years old and the styles back then were, well, simply not that great. But hey, it's all in fun....let's all have a good laugh :7

Aww, I'm sure you were a beautiful child, Cathe :).

And (since I'm still so deliriously happy over my procedure 11 days ago), have you ever considered Lasik? I'd worn glasses since junior high and contacts since just after college, but in the last few months, my eyes started to get bad irritations from the contacts and so I was forced to wear my glasses all the time--not a great option when you're active, especially when you are training for a half-marathon LOL! I finally got Lasik and I am soooooo thrilled. I can't stop raving about it :).

Just a thought :).

Hi Jennifer! Oops, I should have been more specific. I now only have glasses mainly for night driving to reduce glare since I had Lasik about 8 years ago and got 20/15 and 20/20. I, too, was deliriously happy and still am. I was 20/400 before Lasik, which is considered legally blind so yes, it was simply amazing to be able to see the world clearly with my naked eye in literally a matter of minutes. I'm thrilled that your procedure was a success and that you are living a much more comfortable and convenient life. Its the best feeling isn't it? Take Care!

Can't wait to see the pictures! I too have worn glasses as a child - very, very nearsighted. I wear contact lenses now, and glasses sometimes. I wish I could have laser eye surgery, but my eye doc told me that I'm not a good candidate because my pupils are get too large - I'd be at a very high risk of having halos, which would drive me crazy! Maybe in a few years, when the technology has been refined even more.

Oh, how FUN! Bring on the pix. I agree...we NEED to see one of Chris too! Cathe, that way, you can get even! Ha! You guys are making this round of filming so much FUN!

Yes it sure is :). I almost wish I haven't waited so long (I was a big chicken about the whole thing *hee*), but in the end it doesn't matter--I'm just glad I did it!! :)
