I don't understand that at all. When you purchase something for $199 - why wouldn't they throw in the user guide? I mean, would they rather people get injured and not purchase any Cathe products again or would they rather figure out the user guide pricing with the bundle and allow cathelets to workout with all the necessary tools. This is the first expensive workout program I have come across that does not include user guide in the base purchase.
I own all Cathe DVDs since MIS and this is the first bundle that I have not purchased because I found that it requires too much equipment and was really not impressed when I saw user guide would be an optional purchase. I was also not impressed that Shock Cardio HIIT was more expensive than the other cardio DVDs in the STS program. Are they trying to say that they didn't put in as much effort in other cardio workouts than they did in the HIIT? The only reason I purchased the HIIT was to make a $50 free international shipping from advanced workout, otherwise I was just planning to purchase Mindy Mylrea Bosu workout and Kelly Coffee Meyer's body training DVDs. I do get that these things can be expensive to produce but to make one program more expensive than the other and to make people fork out $5 extra for a necessary tool is just ... well ... quite unimpressive!

I copied this directly from the STS Download page.
"Download the entire STS Strength video series, plus the STS Users’ Guide!" According to this page the user guide does come with the $199.00 bundle. Here is the link: http://www.cathedownloads.com/sts-discount-bundle/ As for the OP question on the $599.00 bundle - I tried looking to see if I could find the page I printed off of the bundle - but I think I must have thrown it away (I printed it to show my hubby!) Here is what the comparable $999.00 page says: "Be one of the few to own Cathe’s entire current video library of over 150 workouts for only $999. Every workout. Every exercise. We can only offer this incredible deal for a limited time—so don’t delay! You wil be able to download each workout individually at your convenience subject to our terms and conditions." Unfortunately it is not clear on whether or not you receive the STS User's Guide. I guess we have to wait and hear from SNM on whether or not it is included in the bundle - I hope you get your answer. Cheznez: STS is very easily modifiable to use only the equipment you probably already have. I did not purchase anything additional to start STS. I used the dumbells and barbell I already had and the bands my hubby happens to have from beachbody. The program is amazing in the amount of strength gains I saw in a short amount of time. I did end up ordering the pull-up stand - and love it ![]() I'm sure I'm not much help . . . but there you go ![]() Tami ![]() Last edited by imatbrown; 01-18-2010 at 11:12 AM.. |
