I think I jumped ahead of myself...
I purchased 3 downloads, preferably to play on my Sprint EVO Droid phone (I think it has like 16 gig) or if necessary, to play on my handed down IPOD 30 gig Nano tho I'm not really an apple person. I just want to take Cathe to the gym with me for a while, mostly for the audio. When I tried to move the file from my laptop to the IPOD, it had to convert the file and tried to start it but never moved beyond 0 percent complete. I really don't want these big files on my laptop- suggestions? Will they run on my phone? The IPOD nano? Thanks, Jody Last edited by Faithnveggies; 08-18-2010 at 09:23 PM.. |

Another question, can I store these files on a memory stick or something until I have the means to use them?

Check that the copy works by playing the copy off the memory stick on your computer before you delete. |

Ahh, success, I used a little more patience (I don't like ITunes so that doesn't help) and have managed to dl all the workouts and have since copied them over to the IPOD nano. For some reason, one of the three workouts had to be converted to an apple format, which literally took an hour, but the others just moved, I am not really sure what happened.
I haven't tried it on my Evo yet, but for now, I have a portable Cathe. I will back up the files on a memory card or something. Thanks |

The EVO supports the video encoder that we use for our files (h.264), however I cannot find reason to believe that it supports the "wrapper" that we use, which is m4v. We do not have an EVO here to experiment on, but please let us know if you have success with playing the files. One thing you might try (but make sure it is on a copy of your video file, not the original) is to change the extension from .m4v to .mp4 and then see if that file copies over and plays. This trick sometimes works for devices we don't officially support.
