100 rep challenge

What weight should I use for the hip thrust challenge? I haven't done any 1 rep max at all. I typically use the same weights as Cathe

They are using 30# in the video. I started with 20#. I'm up to 25#, but I think I can do 30#. I would start light and go up. Always the safest.

I agree. I started with 15 and then moved to 25 but kept 20 nearby in case I needed it. I plan to move to 30 next time.
 
Hip Thrusters Barbell Weight

You need to find a weight that you can do a maximum of about 35 reps for the first set. Amanda was using a a 44 lb barbell in the video, but I'm sure with a little practice could have done more. This works out to about 40 to 50% of your one rep max.
