Lightbulb Scheduling Workouts

I have been scheduling my workouts on the calendar a week in advance -- no more than that, because I know that I sometimes have to make adjustments. Even with the short-term scheduling I sometimes have to change things around.

It would be really helpful if when you have a workout scheduled, for example, on August 1, but need to change that same workout to August 2, you don't have to delete the workout from the one day and reschedule it for the second. If the "delete/edit" button included the option of changing the date of the already-selected workout, that would save a number of steps.

I'm sure that as more people use the system on a daily basis, there will be lots of good timesaving/stepsaving ideas coming out. The whole WM at this point seems fairly cumbersome -- and very slow to load -- and not as useful as it could be (especially the concept of when selecting a DVD workout it does not break the workout into weights/cardio to be able to include that information in your total minutes for the week -- but I digress). I know this is the beta version and that improvements will be made along the way. At least I hope so!

Nancy~ Great idea. I just came here to suggest the same thing

This month I am doing full body weights 2 or 3X a week. It would be easier to enter them and then list the dates I will be doing them. (Instead of going to each individual date and then choosing the dvd) This would also be helpful when doing the 4DS series all month. Easier to pick the workout, then record on the same page all the dates the workout will be done, then doing each date individually.

i.e. picking Muscle Endurance as my dvd- then on the same "page" having a feature for entering more than one date:
august 17
august 19
august 21
(Or checking a box on the calender for all the days that workout will be done.)
and then that info is recorded onto the calendar.
Hope that makes sense

Thanks

I actually just use the WM the same day I do the workouts because it is hard to use and takes a lot of time...

I schedule my workouts monthly, usually, in my google calendar. It's nice cuz it lets me copy and move workouts...takes a lot less time...

In just a few more days we will release the next version of the WM and it will give you the ability to change the date of any scheduled workout as well as set up a reoccurring workout for an entire month.
