Sesame Almond Flat Bread - Low carb!!

I posted a flax bread recipe not too long ago and thought those who liked it would LOVE this! When making any kind of low carb flax bread, I suggest the golden flax meal, as it's got a lighter (bready) taste than the darker flax meal.


Sesame Almond Flax Bread
2 cups almond flour
1 cup ground flax meal
1 cup sesame seeds
1 ½ tbsp of aluminum baking powder
2 tsp of salt
¼ cup of oil (I like olive oil)
1 cup water
6 egg whites
Preheat oven to 350. Mix dry ingredients and add in the wet ingredients and mix well and let sit for a couple minutes while you grease your parchment paper or wax paper, then throw batter on parchment paper and spread out evenly until about ½ inch thick. Make sure you take some sort of a flat edge and push the edges in to make them pretty and flatter on the sides and then throw it in the oven for about 15-20 min or until golden and springy when you touch the middle. Cut into pieces the size of your palm and enjoy! You won’t miss regular bread, trust me.

Use this as bread, pizza crust, or even crisp it up a little longer in the oven and make them crisper for dipping in hummus. 1g carb per slice!
