Marinara Sauce
1/3 c olive oil 1 onion finally chopped 1 clove garlic minced 2 28oz cans whole plum tomatos with juice 3 oz tomato pace black pepper basil oregano over medium heat in a medium sized skillet heat 3 tblspoons olive oil.and onion and garlic. cook 5 min.transfer to slow cooker.add the remaining ingredients and stir.cook on low 4-5 hrs.puree the sauce in a blender.it will keep refrigerated for a week or frozen for 2 months i use it for Light Chicken Parmesan-on this forum turkey manicotti-on this forum lasanga pizza chicken cacciatore laura |
