I'm so excited, I received by STS dvds today! I've been so inspired by all of your stories and results - can't wait to get started! I know I need to eat right to get the results I want - I have previously avoided heavy weights for fear of adding bulk - as well as including the cardio recommendations. I'll be doing the 1RM tests between now and Monday when I will start. Any tips would be appreciated - wish me luck

Congrats! You're sure to love STS! Why not pop over to the STS check-in and have the support of other ladies who are at all different phases of the program. You're bound to be starting at the same time as someone else, and you'll have some vets help you know what to expect

Speaking of STS, I am starting my 4th rotation. Did Meso 1, disc 1 yesterday and I am in pig heaven again! I love everything about this system, and the results are always so amazing to me, its like fine-tuning now since I've done it 3 times.
Itsup2me.... don't worry about bulking up permanently. You may initially swell from muscle pump, which is retained water in the muscle tissue repairing itself. The body learns to deal with it, unless you are eating a whole bag of salty chips every day . Drink plenty of water and get your rest. Muscle is torn down in the gym and built while sleeping. You should add some cardio in there, a couple of times a week to balance yourself. Doesn't matter what kind, just the stuff you like to do and gives you a good sweat. Learn the Workout Manager and how to manipulate your one-rep percentages automatically either through the calendar or the workout cards. I like the ability to download the STS Strength rotation straight into my calendar and if I have to move a workout, I can drag and drop it. I can edit through the calendar too. Love it ! The first meso you will be moving fast, its all about endurance and I love the speed of it. Good luck! |

I am sure you will love it. I certainly have and am in the 2nd mesocycle. I am already planning on doing it again!
If you want to hang with other STS-ers we are over at the New Years Challenge at checkins and challenges almost every day!

Congrats on getting STS! I got it for Mother's Day and plan on starting in July after our beach trip.
