Good Afternoon!

Just got back from the hair salon. I am beautiful again!!! hahaha

Carolyn---what happened at the beach?

Marie---I am with ya. 10:30 is too late. I always have to be to bed by 10:00 on week days, because I get up at 5:45. If I stay up later than that I am grumpy!!!

Meredith---I am jelous I love DOMS!!!

I did my morning run today. 60 minutes. It felt so good to run again. I have not ran in over a week due to my back. But it is all better now!!!! Yeah for that. As for my head....feels much better today. I have battled migranes before, but never that bad. Normally they would start as a headache and progress, I then wouls lay in a dark quiet room and go to sleep, only once has it got so bad that I was throwing up, but this time was completely different. I did not see the dr because most of the time they prescribe medicine for them. I am not big on taking pills. So, we will see. If that happens again I will definately see a physician. But I am just hoping it does not happen again.

Tonight we are having homemade pizza. YUMMY!!! Pizza is my favorite food, so we make it here and it taste 100% better than going out. (not greasy) We make it as healthy as possible, but it is pizza. So I just enjoy it and workout like crazy!!

Off to make homemade spagetti sauce. I make a big batch and freeze it in individual serving size bowls. Then when my husband wants spagetti, all i have to do is take it out of the freezer and thaw it. Then heat it up and bowl noodles. And there you have it homemade spagetti in 15 minutes!!!!

I am also making some burittos for my some of our lunches this week. I am just going to be busy in the kitchen today.

As most of you know, I do this type of preparation so I can save time during the week for my exercise!!!!!

Jean, you must have the cleanest house! you are always cleaning! Glad the dog and you survivrd the grooming. It is good that you do it yourself and nit take her to a groomer. That would be so much more stressful.
I will tell you all later about the beach. Cant type that much on this tablet.
I did HST today. LOVE it!
I bought a 36 x60 mirror for my room. I am going to hang next to my other one so it will be 60x60! I also got a white board calendar just like you Missy! The mirror was $59.I thought that wasnt bad for a big mirror.

Happy Saturday Everyone, today is my rest day! I'm making my shopping list and menu for the week and not planning much else. Colleen, enjoy the bday party and good luck everyone who's working out today. Tomorrow starts STS week 2 for me!

Hey everyone! Hope your Saturday is going well!

Missy, very scary stuff! Sometimes I lose my vision too - just the way you described, gets blurry first then starts to black out. Generally, I do NOT have the headache, so I have always attributed it to dehydration or low blood sugar. Really, it's probably just stress - seems to be the root of everything that goes wrong physically for me. I hope it's nothing serious! Also, 25 lbs! WHOA! I was doing mine with 15 lbs. I think I may try the yoga blocks. I really think it was the deepness of the squat that's getting to me.

Collen, glad to hear that you liked HST! Maybe you'll have butt DOMS tomorrow too I workout in my coverted garage. One of the very best things I did was have a full wall mirror installed. I think it was around $300. It's huge - probably 7' x 10'. I absolutely love it!

Marie, I went to bed at 9:30 last night. I just couldn't stay up any longer. STS is making my hungrier and sleepier. I hope it is also making me stronger! Have fun at the wedding! I am also in awe of you doing STS pregnant. I couldn't even imagine!

And I forgot to thank you, Si, for the reply on my food question! I will try to suck down something Monday morning before my workout. I have those Muscle Milk shakes from CostCo - maybe I'll try that. Generally I'm just trying to get out to the workout room before I crawl back into bed Good for you for powering through Disk 3! I just previewed Disk 4 and saw a bunch of push-ups right at the start. Yikes!

Good Evening!

Meredith---when I first started STS I did the wall squats with 15 pds. But I have increased the pounds since. You will get there. I just like to feel the burn and also I love DOMS. So I workout a hard as I can.

I made the spagetti sause, packaged it, and its in the freezer. I also made my burittos. Now the homemade pizza is in the oven. Yum, Yum. After all that food prep I am hungry. Trying to be good though!!!!

Thinking about what DVD I am doing tonight?????

Oh...can't forget I have done 3 loads of laundry today also. Lots to go....just busy busy!!!

Carolyn---I love my dry erase board, I track everything on it!!! You will love it!!! I also just love my mirror. Thinking about putting mirrors on the back wall also. So, when I turn around I can still see what I am doing. I think the mirror really helps with you form.

Marie---When you get your new appartment, you will need a mirror in you workout room!!!

Hey girlies!

Very quick post...still got company from the birthday party. I did HC Bootcamp again. Oh my gawd...is it possible a workout can be even tougher the second time you do it? It's going to take a long time before I can do that straight through. When I do I think I'll have to apply for my justice leage membership! I don't think I'd make a very good Superwoman...maybe Wonder Woman? lol

Carolyn- I did check out that Groupon elliptical. Thank you for posting that! Unfortunately that particular one didn't have the best reviews so I'm gonna still wait awhile. I want to get a really nice gym quality one when I do finally splurge. I've been coveting the Precor ellipticals. They are REALLY expensive!

Missy- that definitely sounds like a migraine. I get them from time to time...although alot less now that I'm off birth control. I literally had to pull over one time when one hit me and wait on the side of the road until the visual aura passed. It sucks big time. I don't hardly get them nowadays, though thank goodness!

Meredith- butt DOMS...jealous! lol

Okay, gotta run! I will be back tomorrow to write more!

Legs done! Disc 12 Felt good to get that one over with. Legs are hard for me to do after work. Tomorrow will be disc 11...last one of Meso 1. I'm pretty sure I won't go on to Meso 2 since my Dr told me not to lift heavy weights. My goal will be to do one legs and at least one upper body workout a week though. I feel so much better when I'm lifting.

I made spinach dip for our work potluck tomorrow. Not healthy but everyone was requesting it so of course I went with it.

Just relaxing now. Tony gets off at 8 so looking forward to him getting home. Baby is moving around right now Love feeling that. Did I tell you all I think we are going with the name Breckin Vincent. Vincent is my grandpa's name. We aren't 100% sure on the name yet but I really do love it and compare all the names we come up with to that one. Baby shower is planned for Aug 5th. I cleaned up my registry...added some final items. Changed to a Jeep stroller. The one I first register for didn't have a cup holder. Ummmm how is that even possible?! Gotta have water with me at every sec, especially when walking. When Tony gets home we are going to try and find a crib and dresser set online. We registered for 9 cube organizer. It's white and then we got navy blue, light blue and yellow fabric organizer boxes for 6 of the cubes. Will be nice to organize wipes, diapers, toys and such. Figured the other cubes can be used for books. Alright enough rambling haha. I'm just pretty excited that everything is coming along.

We are getting the key to our new place the beginning of next week. Then begins the cleaning and the install of the new sink. Hoping we can start moving our stuff in early, although Aug 1st will be here before we know it. Crazy!

I'm already thinking I'll treat myself to an iced latte on the way to work tomorrow I get pretty wired off coffee now since I gave it up but I don't have to work til 3 on Mon not like I have to get to bed early.

Missy- I would love to get a mirror in my workout area. I also want to get some hooks for my bands. They are just in a box right now. All that food you made sound tasty So which DVD did you end up doing?

Colleen- You are amazing for getting through those HC workouts. They sounds soooo hard!

Meredith- Thanks for the compliment. Hope you're having a good Sat too

Si- Enjoy your rest day and congrats on starting week 2 tomorrow. Hope the shopping went well. One of these days I'm going to have to get organized with my grocery shopping. I usually end up running to the store every other day cuz I never know what I'm going to make.

Carolyn- Your new mirror sounds great! Jealous

Good morning ladies!
I am going to post before my day gets away from me. I have really been neglecting the weights lately so did the 3 gym style workouts this week. I don't know if its the way these workouts are designed or what, but I feel like I have lost alot of strength since STS. I'm cutting myself a little slack, because Cathe starts Chest with those 72 pushups so my muscles are fried for chest press, but I know I was able to lift highter amounts of weight. The beauty of STS was that we were guided with each workout to lift heavier and our bodies responded so well. I am tempted to start STS again but we have a 2 week vacation in Aug. so the timing is not right. And I want to add a big recommendation for GS Legs, I haven't done that one in a long time and forgot how great the floor work was, some really good moves with the ball and band.

I am not sure what workout I will do today, I just have to make myself do weights every other day to stick with it. I have also been swimming alot with the kids.

Marie, how exciting on both the apartment and baby front. Sounds like the new apt. will be so much better than the old situation and you and Tony will have much needed privacy. And you can start preparing the room for the baby!

Missy, that migraine sounds scary, especially since you were driving. Sounds like you had an extra busy week at work, I wonder if stress triggered it? Anyway, I hope you do not experience that again!

Si, thanks for the nutriton information. I'm not usually hungry first thing in the morning but always feel like I should eat something before a workout or I run out of steam.

Meredith and Jean, you single moms are strong women, it is hard enough parenting with 2 parents. I give you a lot of credit.

Colleen, hope the birthday party went well and Lydia had a great time. Good for you for getting your workout in on such a hectic day!

Ok, while typing I decided I will do CSS, so off I go. Oldest daughter was attending volleyball camp up at Dartmouth College in NH this past week so I am heading out later this morning to pick her up (2 hr drive from here). The house has not been right since she was away.
