Thanks guys for the kind words Her name is Aubrey. They are still deciding on a middle name...either Grace or Lauren. She is a peanut at 6lb6oz and 19in. Well like you were Carolyn I'm digesting my oatmeal. I am in major need of some food in the house. Usually I put crushed walnuts and a chopped banana in it but we are out of both. Only fruit in the house is dried apricots so I diced those up and it was pretty tasty. It's almost time for SnG....I remember that one being one of the easier of LIS which I need today. Feeling some nice DOMS from AT and TB the past 2 days. LOVE IT!!! After that I'll head to Target to get something for my niece and then its off to work. Have a good day everyone!

Hi Everyone. Today I did AT. Now that was a workout ! . I was sweating pretty good when I was done. I will have to include that in with my new stuff. I think AB moves too fast for me. I just don't enjoy that one.

Eva I live in Montgomery County Maryland near Silver Spring if you know where that is. Don't you just hate the beltway? It is very congested where I live also. I try to stay out of Virginia as much as possible.

Marie congratulations on your new niece. Do you live anywhere near your sister? Are you the one who lives with your brother in law? If so , will you be moving before your baby comes? It sounds like you are getting alot of good w/o's in. I heard on the news that Autistic children are more likely to be born to obese Mothers. I don't know if there is any truth to that .

Missy you only have 2.2 pounds to lose. That is WONDERFUL. I think that elliptical is helping. I remember when I got mine , my weightloss was more.

Carolyn Good for you for resisting the candy. I cannot do that.

Time to make the cookies.

Jean

Jean, I smell cookies! Yum, nothing like warm cookies from the oven! I have not baked any in a while, and have been resisting buying some at Trader Joe's. The pull is sooo strong! I open the box, and would not be able to stop at 1. Has to be 2 or 3!

Eva, you fit in perfectly with the rest of the group! Everyone here works out most of the week. Except for me. I only do MWF!

Marilyn, congrats on your tower! So exciting to pull out whatever Cathe is using!

Marie, does your OB have you take omega 3s as part of prenatal care? I hear that docs are starting to prescribe that. The DHA is supposed to be really good for the developing brain.

Have you considered henna? When I'm in the natural mood, I've been using it in place of the chemical ones. The best place to buy it is in an Indian store. A bag lasts me 3-4 applications (I have shoulder-length hair), and is less than $3! Actually, I'm assuming your hair is on the dark side; I'm not knowledgeable about henna use if you're light-haired. And I'm assuming you want to do your own hair.

Congrats on being a new auntie! It is truly wonderful that your kids will be very close in age. One of my sisters and I have boys 7 months apart. We could not have planned that if we tried!

Mary, you must be going away next week? (School vacation seems earlier to me this year so I'm disoriented!) That means you'll get in one or two Meso 3 workouts?

So, another Syn-ake story. I hit another TJM yesterday and found the last bottle, again wrinkled box, again pump tube disconnected! What's up with that?! I asked if they would mark it down, and I got $2 off! I'll have to stick something in there to empty out BOTH my bottles! The plastic tube on my first bottle has yet to surface! Both might not even have a tube! Wacky!

Yesterday was my anniversary and my hubby and I went for a sushi lunch--BUFFET! Yikes! Delish though! Oh yeah, 23 years!

Today I did 2 back-to-back HiiTs, 40/20 and 30/30. Can you believe I've never done 40/20 before?! Because I didn't recognize anything in there! I almost twisted my ankle in that move where you throw your legs back and forth over the step! Now I have the extra risers to go with the workout!

I swear the Hydraplenish makes this jumping around less painful. Usually afterward, I'll feel pain in the knees too. Today I don't feel as much! I think by the time I get to Plyo Legs, my knees will be nice and cushioned! As I pop another pill in.

Colleen, I battle dry contacts/eyes daily, so more recently, I have been diligently taking it without skipping days! Do you believe in exercising the eyeballs to strengthen your eyesight? I can never remember to do it, but when I do, I feel my vision is temporarily sharper!

Missy, send some of that youthful energy my way! Great job with your continued weight loss!

Carolyn, good luck with the eye doc for your daughter! Might try the kale chips later!

Catch y'all later!

Well My cookies are all baked. I baked them for 10 minutes and I got 6 dozen. They are delicious. I ate 2. I am going to take 3 dozen to my sisters tomorrow and leave my husband 3 dozen. I haven't baked cookies in years and my house smells like Christmas.

Happy Anniversary Betty and many more. I can't believe you did 40/20 AND 30/30 in the same day. I tried one of those and quit early. I am impressed. With that much in one day , I see why you only work out 3 days.

I found a real nice live Bald Eagle Webcam. It is called Decorah Eagle Cam. They are in Iowa. There is a mom and dad eagle and three 2 week old eaglets. There is usually just one adult at a time. You can see the babies getting fed. The babies stick their little butts in the air and shoot out a BM. I really enjoy watching them. I would think your children would enjoy it also. Last night I saw both of the adults in the nest at once.

Jean, we were all glued to our computers a while back, watching Molly the owl live webcam. It is totally addicting. You make me want to eat cookies! I am eating a kids Cliff Bar instead. Soothes my sweet tooth. I am also having a cup of coffee. I am so tired! This insomnia really stinks.
Betty, Happy belated Anniversary! Your synake story made me laugh. I am queen of getting money off at TJ and Marshalls. Hey, if you don't ask, you won't know! Good for you!
Not sure if I isted my workout today. I ran, and then I did disc 22 shoulders, triceps and chest. Darn those tricep pushups. I can't seem to get my hand postion right, without feeling like I am going to snap my arm in the wrong direction. While she did those, I did crossbody kickbacks.
Legs on tap for tomorrow. So much for this LIS/STS rotation. I have tweaked it so much it doesn't even look a thing like it! Oh well, I feel worked, and that is all that matters to me!

Carolyn I went to Molly the Owl but it was offline. I LOVE Owls. I will continue to look for it. Are you saying that you are also giving up on Lis/Sts rotation? Didn't you download the whole rotation into your calendar? I will never download another rotation because if you don't like it , then you have to delete everyday. I think on Monday I am doing Slow and Heavy Chest and Back. I already put it into my calendar. I love all of my new w/o's . I can't wait to use them all.

Sorry...Molly the Owl was up for a year. We watched her mate...have owelets..watched them grow...and then they flew the nest. The people who did it ended it after that because it was such a huge thing and they didn't want all the publicity. I will find the website that it was on. There were tons to choose from. Molly was a barn owl.
I did put the rotation in my calendar! I am just moving days around..adding workouts..deleting workouts. It is a mess! I find it helpful though, because it gives me some ideas to pick from. I am not good at doing it on my own.
You will love Slow and Heavy. You won't be able to move for days! LOL

The Eagle Cam is so cool Jean! Decorah is right by where I live! In fact, where I went to high school in southeastern Minnesota (Spring Grove) many many of my classmates went to college there (Luther College).

I'm feeling a sore throat today and I've been sneezing a lot. I can't decide if I'm getting a cold or if it's allergies. I do this every year...more often it's allergies but can you get a sore throat with that? Dylan has been sneezing, too. I hate taking antihistamines. Even the ones that aren't supposed to make you drowsy make me feel "off".

I was going to do Paul Katami today but I think I'm going to do Circuit Blast instead if I can get myself moving here. I feel so tired, I don't think I'll be putting my all into it. As for the tower on ebay, I started looking at it and thought about bidding but I have this weird thing about ebay (plus the shipping was $20 which kind of bugged me-I'm getting used to free shipping). I've never bid on anything or even purchased anything from there. I have this weird anxiety about bidding and bartering prices. I remember when I went to Mexico in college on spring break I was totally freaked out about the bartering down there. I'm like, just give me the price dammit! I hate negotiating! That's why I hate buying cars, too. Mark always wants to negotiate price and it just plain makes me nervous. When I went to the Dominican Republic last year with my sisters, I had to have my niece barter for me to buy a painting. Yep, it's a neurotic hang up! Sooooo, I'll probably just wait and I'm sure it'll become available again soon at regular retailers (hopefully).

Jean- I'm soooo glad you liked AT! Yay! I thought you might like that one a little better since there are more strength exercises for upper body and the cardio section isn't too long. I'm glad you liked the cookies too! I wound up having a second cookie for breakfast this morning!

Happy Anniversary Betty! Wow, I can't believe you did both Hiit's back to back! You must have incredible cardio capacity! I'm glad the Hydraplenish seems to be helping your knees! It sure does mine. As far as the eye strengthening exercises, it depends on what kind of exercises you are doing. Accomodation (near focus) maybe temporarily strengthened if you work that. I'm afraid most of it isn't going to do much though. There was this optometrist awhile back who was trying to sell a system to "strengthen your eyes and throw away your glasses!"...I'm afraid it was pure hogwash though.

Better get a wiggle on (as Carolyn would say)!

Good Morning!

I couldn't wait and started Meso 3 last night. I don't know why but it wasn't quite what I expected. I felt like I got a great workout and felt pleasantly fatigued when it was over, but I don't know if I pushed myself enough weight-wise. I did not feel like I went to failure on all the sets with the weight I had. But its based on my previous weights so I don't know what was going on. The only weight I did not even attempt was 30lb dumbbells for chest flies. I actually picked up that weight and realized I could seriously hurt myself if I tried it so dropped to 25. And 8 reps was perfect for deadlifts as my forearms were really stinging at that point. I thought the breaks in between sets might be too long but I found I needed the extra time to get my barbell adjusted for the right weights. I also thought I would have DOMS today but I don't have any. I am going to try to get the rest of week 1 done before we head out for vacation, and then I'll repeat this week when we get back. Betty I'll be interested to hear what you think when you start Meso 3.

Marie, congratulations on becoming an aunt! That's so great that your babies will be close together.

Betty, 2 back to back Hiits - wow! I think 40/20 is the hardest one of all, it really winds me.

All this talk of cookies makes me want to bake. I love to bake, it makes me relax, but I see myself eating all those cookies and I think better not. I have not been good with all the chocolate in the house this week.

Have a great day!
