Okay. So I ordered the additional squat rack legs DVDs. I have 30# dumbbells, but no vest. Can anyone tell me if they feel the vest is worth purchase, or is just increasing the lifted weight sufficient? I would get the vest in a heartbeat if I just knew more about it.

In my opinion, it's worth it, simply because I would not be able to lift 50 or so pounds over my head. With the vest, I didn't have to.

I purchased the vest for the same reason Jane mentioned. It is definitely well worth the money spent. Also, get the 20lb. vest so you can adjust the weight as needed.

before I broke my shoulder 4 wks ago
, I was in Meso 3 of STS WITHOUT having a weighted vest. My leg strength had become more than my arms could safely (w/ a barbell) get over my head...when I am recovered ---I will definitely be getting a weighted vest---or even before since my legs will be stronger than my arms when I can start exercising/lifting again.

Thank you so much, guys. Will definitely be ordering this week from Cathe's shop. After that, I can see the value of the microweighted gloves.
