Default couple of questions

This may have been answered before but I didn't see it anywhere. How long (on average) is each workout/disc? Also, I haven't been working out as much as before, is this too advanced and should I start back with just the regular workouts or would this be good too?

I believe the workouts will come in at under 1 hour each.

As far as getting ready is concerned, there is still some time before STS will be delivered, so you still have time to get into lifting on a regular basis. I have just started back and was happily surprised to discover that I made gains in strength rapidly, within just 3 weeks. So, think positive, get out some of your fave Cathe weight lifting DVDs and get back in the groove.

Just my thoughts....

"too advanced" - Thats the beauty of Peridization Training...You start with wherever you are...So Meso 1 is all about building muscle endurance...You'll lift at about 60% of YOUR 1RM. That means you may be lifting a 7#'er (just an example) and an advanced lifter may be using a 30#'er.
You are in competition with no-one else.... If you fatigue ( or poop out, as I call it) before the set is completed - either pause DVD and recover then hit start again or you can call it a "set" and make note to about the weight being a bit too heavy. Even doing Cathe's DVDs now (especially legs/plyo etc...) I modify just because its better for my body. I still get an incredible workout every single time-

I think of exercsing with Cathe like playing golf. In golf its all about you , the ball, the course, your mind over matter.... With advanced instructors the "game" is mental & between me & my muscles & the weight load ...Cathe is just with me every step of the way to guide me to the next exercise & keep me motivated.....I dont think lifting can be "too advanced" if you always follow what your body is capable of doing and strive to safely push a tad beyond that each training session.

Personally - I believe its the mental aspect of STS that might be giving people concern... Committing to a 3-Month Training Program sounds daunting- it really is a fantastic way to train tho. Knowing that for 90 days you dont have to over think about your goals- what you want to do for a rotation etc is VERY FREEING!

Start doing either Full Body lifting now (2-3x per week) or if you feel stronger you can start on a Lower / Upper / Lower schedule - that will really help prepare your muscles for a Split program like STS.

Again- all are just my thoughts!
