URGENT URGENT -- Coordinators Need Help!!

Hi Road Trippers,

Please check your e-mail immediately when you see this post. On Sunday evening, July 26th, we sent an e-mail out to a group of Road Trippers (NOT ALL OF YOU) regarding the following problem with which we need your help.

While work was ongoing Sunday afternoon on your 2009 Road Trip Who's Who Book, our server experienced a brain drain of some sort, and a chunk of our WWB entries were corrupted. Despite the immediate best efforts of Cathe's crackerjack web guys, we weren't able to recover everything and we have lost the Who's Who photo files for those of you to whom we sent an e-mail.

IF YOU GOT OUR E-MAIL ABOUT THIS PROBLEM, PLEASE SEND US YOUR WHO'S WHO BOOK PHOTOGRAPH AGAIN IMMEDIATELY. TO DO SO:

• SEND YOUR PHOTO IN JPEG FORMAT TO THE COORDINATORS' G-MAIL ADDRESS (catheroadtrip2009@gmail.com), AND
  

• IF POSSIBLE PLEASE KEEP THE FILE NAME EXACTLY AS IT WAS WHEN YOU UPLOADED IT TO YOUR WHO'S WHO FORM ORIGINALLY.

Today's server problem didn't affect anyone's Personal Info Form or Who's Who Book text entries otherwise, and we're still on track to complete the Who's Who Book exactly as we'd hoped to do for you. We just hate having to trouble you with this just days before your trip. We are so sorry about this, everybody, and we're so appreciative of your understanding and help.

Ladies and gentlemen, I know everyone appreciates everything you do to make these RTs go smoothly and as a an event organizer in my pre-retired life I know what headaches can be involved. It never hurts to say it, though: Thank you so much for all you do!

Hey Nancy, what a wonderful boost this post was to us! Thank you soooooo much from all three of us!! You know, we're kinda used to behind-the-scenes RT mini-crises by now, of course, because every year we have some -- most of which we hope y'all never see. Like you say, they happen in every event and you just have to expect them and roll with 'em. This particular mini-crisis will work itself out like the others (we've already gotten half the photos we need from our fabulously responsive Trippers -- thank you ALL!! ), but I'd be lyin' if I didn't admit it's been a frustrating day.

So thanks again for the sweet, sweet note! SEE YOU FRIDAY!!

No biggie! I LOVE/HATE computers! They can do the strangest things in the blink of an eye!
