July RT Poem and August update

This one is the July one....

Welcome to New Jersey, The Garden State
Home of the Cathe Road Trip, 2008

We've come by car, plane, and also Rapid Rover...
To Kick, Punch, and Crunch...& Over face in over

It's safe to say we'll all be damp
Thanks to the challenge of Cathe's Boot Camp

Think we're done?? Not so fast...
We still have to endure Lower Body Blast

And while there'll be tons of sweat throughout,
that's not what this weekend is truly about!

It's about making memories that will last,
long after the "work work" has passed!

It's to thank our fitness leader for kicking our rears,
to say "Keep Your Game Face On" for many more years

There will be plenty of good times, when all's said and done
We'll be able to look back and say...wow, was that ever fun!

An event this grand needs behind the scenes heroes...
The Deb's, the Lorrayne's, the Kathy Shapiro's

I'd like to add a personal touch,
and thank my forum friends ever so much!

To Cathe I say thank you for improving my life
On behalf of myself and also my wife

We're all better people because we've made fitness our passion
Hard work in sweat will always remain in fashion!

Just one more thing I need to get across...in New Jersey it's not Springsteen, but Cathe Friedrich who's Boss!!

(This was a quick last minute update to the July poem to reflect my new username...)

One final thing I'd like you to know...
Sorry Mrs. Lopez...but I'm the first J-Lo!!!!


August changes...

Cathe cracked the whip in July, and I'll bet she'll crack another..
What you do to one road trip...YOU DO TO THE OTHER!!!

To all you August Road Trippers, it's your turn you know...
go have as much fun as we did, 2 weekends ago!!

That line was in my head for several days after our RT in July...my wife kind of looked at me funny when I went back to bed after 8 hours of sleep the other night..I told her I had slept on one side of the bed, now I have to sleep on the other!!
