Xers - Thankful Thursday + BIRTHDAY!!!

Okay...so I am sitting here in the dark wondering who the heck Carrie is, Sandra and Traci. It is definitely possible that I missed something....but I am sure there was no post on our thread from a Carrie...But, Carrie, if you are out there...Welcome!!!

Now that I have that off my chest...I have been a bit overly emotional this past week...and that is not a good thing...but I am trying to right myself. And...I have a cold...I am sure I got it from one of those darn urchins at DD's school. So I have felt pretty miserable for the past couple of days...And CB and I got into another tiff...I hate to say fight...but who knows...I'm telling you...dating is not for sissies!!

And as far as an Xer reunion...I am there where ever it is....And my house is always open...It's pretty big too, so we can fit everyone..and there are quite a few within driving distance...Carol, Wendy, Tracy, Amy, Swifty, Teddygirl, and Laurie if she makes it a 2 day. We'll just have to start a pool for the west coast gals..and Traci, of course...as well as our Canadian friend! I just have to warn you, though...I am listening to bats outside my window right now!!!!!

Traci...I skipped what was supposed to be a cardio plus upper body on Tuesday and did yoga instead....then I did nothing yesterday...and today I did Eoin's quickie...so I have to chime in that I have not really done a lot in the workout arena for the past 3 days either. At least you know you are starting the X on Monday..And me...Who knows..I keep saying I am going to do Slo Mo...but it is still in the wrapper! LOL about eating the turkey at 9...You guys are seriously crazy!

Tracy...You crack me up...I think the point of any rotation is that you can't dictate to yourself what to do...and that is hard! If I always picked out my own rotation, I wouldn't work as hard...But of course, that is what I am doing right now...Which is probably why I have gained 2 pounds..LOL! Just a little tiff with CB...but I am telling you..this dating stuff is for the birds! Hope you had an enjoyable day...at your house for a change!!

Jeanette...Hope you are having a wonderful day! I am sure you sweet potatoes are yummy. I am always up for a get together...let me know when and where...or just come here!!

Cheryl...So glad to see your shining face today! We've missed you!!

Sandra...Do you feel left out of all of the festivities today here in the States??? Did you really do yogaX or did you sub? If you really did it..I give you a gold star already!! We Americans are nicer than we are given credit for. Hope you guys are having a great non-Thanksgiving day up in the North.

Hi everyone,
We're back home now. Had a wonderful, wonderful day at my sister's house. Did get some a step workout done before we left. I did about 5 step combos (no blasts) from Tracey Staehle's HISM, part of Christi Taylor's Totally Cool Step, and part of CT's Stepsational. I think tomorrow will be The Gauntlet before leaving to golf. No crazy Christmas shopping for me on Black Friday. I'll leave that for the braver ones.

Nicole, thank you for the birthday wishes. I hope you had a nice time today too. Did you do the cooking today? Such a cute Meez! I love the autumn colors, perfect for Thanksgiving!

Sandra, glad you enjoyed the pictures. Actually, I was thinking maybe we could meet in a more central location, maybe a place with a bigger airport as I'm a 2 hour drive from Reno, Nevada. I kind of pictured someone's place further east from me. Any ideas? How was Jump & Pump tonite? Will you be subbing the YogaX? I still need to read about the Lean Rotation and start planning my workouts.

Traci, you ate Thanksgiving dinner in the morning? I probably could have done that too, but it just wouldn't seem, um, traditional. Glad you like the new boat. Did you catch any fish? Traci, I would love for everyone to come to my house, but I really think that another location would be more convenient and fun. I live in a pretty small town, Walmart is about our only clothing store and restaurant fare isn't too great. Oh wait, for entertainment I could take you all out on the big yard at the prison. Know you'd all love that... Plus, I'd just love to go somewhere else. Were the brownies good? Were they No Pudge?

Lea, hope you had a fabulous day. Looking forward to seeing you too, but thinking somewhere else would be better. Any suggestions?

Debra, honey, so sorry that you caught a darned cold. Please get plenty of rest and drink lots of water too. Your place sounds wonderful for a get together too. Ooooh, something to look forward to next year!!! Sorry about the tiff with CB. Hope things get resolved.
