Hello to everyone that follows. I ended the day yesterday at 1710 calories yay!

Happy Tuesday All. Yesterday was so busy at work. I walked so much and today I was so tired but I squeezed in a 20 min run. Still feeling tired. Already dreaming about bed tonight. lol

I'm still sore from Saturday's workout! No workout yesterday, YR today, will get back to run/walk tomorrow. Ate clean yesterday, starting no sugar tomorrow. What is Evonne planning for August?

Hi Sue
My plan for August is to finish STS, and then concentrate on Gym Styles for a few weeks. All the while keeping up my running and other Cathe aerobics. I hope to get up to the 11-mile mark with my runs by the end of August. I need to be able to run 13 miles for the half-marathon in September. I need to focus also on keeping my diet clean - I want to get more organize with my menu planning. |

M3D25 yesterday. I write in the STS workbook and was pleased to see some micro improvements from the last round. Could really feel some doms during kickboxing this morning, which always makes me happy. Can't wait for Plyo Legs tomorrow. I think I might toss in a Turbo Barre premix after.
Made the mistake of making zucchini bread and may have had a bit too much for lunch. Planning a nice clean dinner to make up for it. I'm going to raid my dad's garden for some fresh veggies and grill some chicken. Hope you all have a great day. : ) |

Hi Shereta,
My half is September 23. I can't wait. Do you know what you're going to wear? I thought I had a good outfit, but then I ran 9 miles in it and got major chafing. But then when I ran 9.5 miles I used vaseline on the areas that had been chafed before, and I didn't have a problem. Anyways, I still don't know for sure what to run the half in. I'm contemplating going to Lululemon and splurging. I've never bought anything from that store because its so expensive. But one thing I've learned from running is that its worth it to buy the more expensive gear than to suffer with the cheap stuff. I remembered you talked about tempo runs, so I did some research on that and decided to try one myself a couple of days ago. Actually, it felt really good to run at a faster pace. It seemed to flush a lot of the lactic acid out of my quads and I wasn't as sore afterwards. So I think that taught me a good lesson to mix up my training and not always do slow runs. Now I need to figure out where to run so that I can get some hills into my training. Sounds like you get a lot of hills in your training. |

Hi all! Yesterday I ate pretty clean. My last dessert for a month was strawberries w/ whipped cream, it was yummy and not too calorie-dense. Now I can have the strawberries but not the whipped cream!
I got August off to a good start w/ my walk/run... 20 min straight jogging I'm still sore so I followed that up w/ a stretch max. Used the WO manager to plan my month, entered a workout for every day. Last month I found myself taking unscheduled days off then working out on my scheduled day off. So this month if I need a day off I'll just delete the workout for that day. Renee - how's your PF? are you feeling any better? I imagine that really messes with your w/o capabilities! Amelia - I'm more of a moderate exerciser. I actually started working out w/ the wii fit to ease myself into it, but haven't been on there in a while. How intense is the gold's gym workout? Shereta - how was your day yesterday? Don't you hate it when your dragging from morning to night? Melanie - STS + running + cardio? Wonder woman! How are you liking your muscle definition? Tina - I've never made zucchini bread but I can make a mean banana bread. It's so hard to resist when it's right out of the oven! Let's have an excellent month ![]() Sue |

M3D26 plyo legs, bonus legs from M1D3 and STS ball abs. I am cooked now. Plyo legs are my favorite of all the STS workouts, super sweat factory!
My DD made these Oreo Bonbons from a recipe at Disney. I goofed and had one this afternoon. Boy, was that yummy! Now I'll have to be vigilant the rest of the day. : / I'm in awe of all the running you girls are doing, fantastic! : ) |
