Morning Ladies -
This morning I did Katina's Pump Party 65" followed by 25 minutes of Gliding Aerobics (with my own music on). Workout was 1 hour 30 minutes and I burned 500 calories. I also did Rainbeau Mars Yoga for Beauty Dawn (this series is still one of my fave's no matter how many new ones I get - always makes me feel better - especially if I've had stomach problems).
Katina's Pump party was pretty decent. I feel worked. It was a bit heavy on the shoulder exercises, light on chest (only 3 sets of pushups and some standing chest moves) and light on lats....but it was a very good workout. Didn't really like the music on this one (recognized it from Kari Anderson's Hot Steps)....will listen to my own next time.
I've got horrid facial pain and headaches due to my sinuses (infection). Last time I called my doctor, he told me to go to a specialist. I'm so mad that he won't treat me medically, as I'm NO WAY having the surgery the specialist recommended! This makes me mad. I guess I'm going to have to go to another ENT doctor -- hopefully one that will treat me medically not surgically.
Forgot to mention a funny story from Vegas. I wore my Ed Hardy - Tattoo sleeved Tee shirt the day we traveled (only long sleeved one left in my closet - my DH hates the shirt). You guys would NOT Believe how many people stare at me when I'm wearing it. They stared in the Casino's, hotels, restaurants, airport, etc. It finally got to the point where even my husband started to find it amusing. I always get a kick out of it cuz I could care less what others think of me and it's very intersting to see how people judge you on your looks....i.e, the tattooed - hardcore biker chick!! HA! HA! Not even close!
Jen- I give you a lot of credit for all of that calorie counting and meal planning. I don't think I have the patience for that. I eat around 2200 calories a day and maybe slightly more when I do longer workouts. I looked in the P90X Nutrition book and if I have a power workout, it actually says I'm allowed to have around 2400-2500 which is probably close to what I consume, albeit not all clean....as I do eat a few processed foods, not enough protein and too many carbs....but I'm a VERY picky eater. I wish I liked fish & chicken! I couldn't swallow it if you paid me too. Yes, my cats have some personalities on them!! Brookie was attacking me this morning when I was doing yoga. She's a crazy girl! She's passed out now....along with the 2 male cats. She slept right next to me in bed last night and the night before. She's Mommy's girl.
