Really? you don't like bananas? first time I heard this, bananas are good for you. Wow! the way you did CCC sounds good, good thing you did skip a few then went back, did you repeated #4 just by accident? hahaha! Just messing with ya! I went to the rotations to look for this one, its a fat lost rotation that's why Cathe is torturing in this one. When I saw catfish with watermelon, I thought, hmmm? weird mexican food, but then when I saw gorditas, chilaquiles, then this is it, this is real mexican food, I love chilaquiles I haven't have those in ages, whenever I go to Mexico I'll have lots of them, I already have the list of the food that I want my sisters to cook for me, mmmm I can't wait. Whit all that food I don't think any one would be hungry, I'm going to take your advice and get me a few bottles of wine, I wonder how many I can take in my luggage? Good job doing CCC, I don't think it is consider a cheat, because you still did the whole thing.![]() Julie Good job doing heavy hamstring and glutes, its nice when you can go heavier then the past workout, I know that always make me feel good. So nice that you got plenty of time to do stretching, Cathe said that stretching is as important as the actual workout, and you did good.I was thinking more like crazy when I was doing chest, both of the workouts has pushups and bench press whit flies, but what I did like is that they where totally diff moves, so my chest was BURNING was on fire and today I have a nice chest DOMS actually my whole body is sore, nice feeling. I had to laugh at what Ozzie would say, a good one, and that remand me of Stacy, last night she was sleeping across the bed so her feet was kicking my legs, I pushed her once but she didn't move then the second time I called her "Stacy, move up her and don't kick" she said to me, "mom, you woke me up, I was so comfy" Janie Good for you for taking a day for rest, and for enjoying the day with Joey and Rolly, bike and beach sprinting, good for you. Today its being raining all day and soooo cold, pretty cold, that the finger that I got hurt with Sam its being on pain, oh well, I haven't workout yet but I'll try to do a little workout latter, I have cardio today. Julie Great job on your hamstring and glute workout, especially going heavier AND getting a nice stretch at the end. That should help to ease those DOMS. Are you doing lots of toe touches today?
I think that I will do CCC that way from now on. It really helped because I wasn't spending the whole workout dreading that 4th round! I have never seen handball but I bet that is fun to watch. I love watching the table tennis, it amazes me how good they are!It's funny, I am the same way with my cats, I am so careful not to move so that I don't disturb them when they are sleeping. Of course that is almost all they ever do, so it shouldn't matter if their sleep is disturbed I'm glad you got a better night's sleep despite Ozzy! Janie Great job on your bike ride and your sprint intervals. It sounds like a lot of fun! You definitely should try the CCC modification, it made a big difference for me. Eunice Nope, I don't like bananas at all. I know they are good for you but I just don't like the taste. And that taste stays with you for a long time too! Oh you are funny, no, I didn't accidentally repeat round 4 in CCC. maybe you should try it that way and let us know how it is? Oh I love chilaquiles too! I had them for the first time ever last year when we went to a Mexican restaurant in town and then I had to make them at home. They are sooooo good! What are you other favorite Mexican foods that are on your list? What did you end up doing for your cardio? I hope that your finger was feeling better! Cheryl How did your class go?? This morning for me was the original LIC. I hadn't done that one in a long time and I liked it better than I remembered I almost subbed something else because I was thinking I didn't like it, but then it was pretty good. This morning I worked shoulders from all angles! I didn’t increase my weights from last time but did get more reps and should be ready to increase the weight next week. Then I did the Step Tabata premix from To The Max. Out of all the tabatas, I think I like that one the best. After that I think it is the firewalker tabata from CrossFire (sorry Pam). I especially like Cathe's comment at the end of that one "Get this thing off!"

Especially intervals, because he probably thinks it is a game to stop and go. Eunice Bummer the rain and cold was causing your finger to hurt again. I hope it is feeling better. Yep, increasing weights or adding on reps always makes me smile and feel like I am progressing. I bet your whole body is on fire today, but a good fire. One that every time you move you remember how awesome lifting weights is! How cute is Stacy! I wonder what she is dreaming about when she is kicking. Maggie sleeps at the end of the bed and sometimes she will kick in her sleep. I always think she must be dreaming about running. Pam Great job on LIC! I like that one a lot! I’ve heard some people complain about the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun remake version but I like it. I did make sure I can still touch my toes this morning but I won’t be doing that all day especially at work in a dress! I can’t believe you don’t like bananas! I think I could live off them. I do kind of understand though because they do have a strong flavor that lasts and lasts even if you brush your teeth after eating one. I am now convinced that it is ok to move Ozzie if he is in my territory. He gets to sleep all day while I work to put a roof over his head and a warm bed for him to sleep in. I deserve my sleep. Yeah, right, we’ll see what happens next time! Have a great day!

Eunice Good job on Power Hour. I haven't done that one in a while and I am trying to remember it. I think I like the shoulder work in it. You know you have worked your core good if you can feel it if you sneeze or laugh. Did you do two weight workouts back to back with doing MIS the next day? I bet your muscles are talking to you
. Hopefully you did break your finger. It might not hurt to have a doctor look at it.Pam Glad that you made it through CCC. Smart idea doing round 4 2nd. I will try that trick next time I do it. Good job on that and your tabata workouts.Janie Enjoy your rest day. Fun to do sprinting intervals with Rolly. So of course I couldn't sleep Monday night. It was soooo hot and with it being my first day back at work that just made it worse. So no workout in the morning and that afternoon I took my two instructors though a workout. Well it wasn't great but it wasn't terrible either. Of course I forget my watch at home that has a second hand to time them so I was trying to watch the clock on the wall and of course I couldn't concentrate on what they were doing. Also when we started it was quite but soon after a group of figure skaters came in for their dry land training so we had to move from where we were to give them room. So a few things threw me off and I got flustered. I was like this the first time I took one of the instructors through with a one on one session, however both instructors said that they would like to do it again with me. They did like the variety of exercises that I did with them so that was good. So I got home late and had McDonald's for dinner, not something I like to eat but it was fast. When we were sitting outside we could tell that there was going to be a storm, we could hear thunder in the distance and it all of a sudden got windy and dark. We went inside to clean up the kitchen and the thunder and lightining really started and was just over our heads. All of a sudden there was a huge bang and the power went out (it wasn't out too long but long enough so I couldn't post last night). A few minutes after that I could hear sirens from the firetrucks and it sounded like they were coming into our townhouse complex. Sure enough a firetruck went by with his lights on. Of course I had to go out to check out what was happening in the downpour and with it thundering and lightining. I guess one of our neighbours saw smoke after one of the lightining strikes but it ended up being a false alarm. However when I was out talking to the firemen they got another call about someone who was stuck in an elevator due to the power outage. One of my fears when I am at work. So I went to bed early to workout this morning but the storm lasted until about midnight so I didn't get to sleep until at least 1am so I will try again for tomorrow. We don't usually have storms that last that long they are normally pretty quick.Anyway hopefully I will get back to a normal routine tomorrow. Have a great day everyone. Cheryl |

Pam Maybe I'll try to do your CCC from now on we will call it Pam CCC. Well, I have chilaquiles, mole verde, gorditas, tamales, pozole, mmmm I'm getting hungry, last time I went to Mexico I made sure I lost weight before because I was going to put on some weight and I sure did on my way back my pants were so tight
I felt like a big chirizo sausage. I did LIS LIChallenge, and guess what? I did it around 6pm and when I was half way through DH got home, NO dinner, No nothing, hahaha and he was surprised that I was working out that late, he said "when the cat is not home, the mice play" I sure did.![]() So weird about my finger! Good job doing LIC original so nice to have an easy one after those tough ones.Julie Good job doing shoulders from every single angles, good job missy +the step tabata premix. Do you think I could had broke my finger? it was really weird with the cold weather.Maybe you couldn't get a workout in or a good sleep but oh boy sounds rally interesting day, very busy! Sorry that you forgot your watch and then those girls coming to distract you, I'm sure it was a good workout though!!!! Maybe after your done with your school and all that stuff when get the chance you can create a rotation for us! No electricity no internet, that was bad! so funny the comment about the cats, it would be fun isn't!!Yesterday I ended up doing LIS LIC challenge, DH wasn't home as you all know but he always, always finish early before Friday so he got home just when I was half way.. So funny!! So I lost my concentration and I got the last part of the step all messed up last time I did it really good not this time.Today I did Muscle Max, my legs were shaking ![]() I was wondering how I did this workout at the beginning of me doing Cathe's WO because is a tough one, well I know I probably didn't do all reps![]() Have a nice day everyone!!

Walked the beach with Rolly for about 45-60 min. Didn't feel like a workout today. I mean I fought with myself so decided not to. I must need another day of rest. Finding all kinds of ways to make probiotics and will incorporate them in my diet ASAP. From what I'm gathering on the internet, it is crusial to have them. It's like fresh fruits and vegis are an absolute way of eating and cleansing our bodies and probiotics are feeding and nourishing. Makes since from all that I've read so far. Sauerkraut, yogurt, kifer, miso, temph, pickles, kimchi, and buttermilk. All fermented foods and drinks that will give you thousands and thousands of probiotics in my diet. I'm making sauerkraut using purple cabbage. It's been doing it's thing for 3 days, tomorrow I'll taste it. Ymmmmmmm.
Eunice, What cardio did you do? Sorry about your sore finger. Hope it gets better. Poor thing. Pam, Great job on LIC this morning. I'm glad you found a little bit easier workout to do this time. Julie, Great job on working out shoulders from all angles, that should do it. Aw, you increased reps. Alright! Also great job on Step Tabata prem from TTM. I love that comment too. Julie Great job on your shoulder workout. You did improve if you were able to do more reps. Great job on the Step Tabata premis from TTM too. I think that is my favorite of the tabatas too. I am definitely with Cathe on the get this thing off for the firewalker one.
![]() Oh I love Girls just wanna have fun in LIC. I was singing that song later in the day too. Oh I'm sure the men in your office would like it if you were touching your toes in your dress I found out not too long ago that my mom doesn't like bananas either so I guess I inherited that from her. Now cherries on the other hand, I could live off! Of course they don't have the potassium, but I just have to get that in other ways. I'm pretty sure you won't be moving Ozzie next time either, they just look so cute and peaceful. Chery Oh no, it sounds like it was tough doing your class with all of the other things going on, but I'm glad to hear that you got through it and it wasn't terrible. I bet it was better than you think it was too! Oh boy, you had quite the crazy night that night too with the storm and the firetruck. I hope you got a better sleep last night! Eunice OK, next time it will be PCCC! I have never had mole verde, I think I would like that better than the regular mole sauce. Do you have a good recipe for it? Oh man, I know that feeling of feeling like a big fat sausage. I was that way after my class on Sunday and still felt it on Monday. I hate feeling like that! Great job on LIS LIC. That is funny about your DH coming home while you were working out. Were you expecting him to be home, or did he come home early? Great job on MM too! you probably weren't using as heavy weight when you were first doing MM as you are now either! Janie Good for you for taking a rest day when your body was telling you that you needed it. A 45-60 minute walk doesn't really sound too much like rest though! Wow, I bet your homemade sauerkraut will be amazing! I love the greek yogurt as a source of probiotics too. This morning for me was Hiit 40/20 and NE abs. I hadn't done either of those in awhile and I love how you can get all that in in such a short time! For some reason 40/20 is feeling easier these days, I think it is all of those 60 second rests. It's funny though because sometimes during the warm up to my workout I am wondering if I'm going to be able to make it through the workout. This was one of those mornings, but it was good. Tonight we are going to see Ted Nugent which should be quite interesting. I hope I am able to get up for my Lower Body Blast tomorrow! Have a great day ladies! Pam |

This morning was back and triceps. Increased weights this time and I think I will be able to on most of the exercises for next week too. I am really feeling my triceps work during the workout so hopefully I will get some nice DOMS. So far no shoulder DOMS but I rarely get those anyway.
Cheryl Bummer on the two bad night’s sleep in a row! I bet you are relieved to be done with the sessions for your instructor. In a way, I guess those little oopsies just help you prepare for if those things happen when you have a client. I can usually sleep like a rock with thunderstorms. I don’t know why but I may wake up with the first thunderclap but then it’s like the rain and wind and thunder lull me back to sleep. Too bad Ozzie can’t lull me to sleep when he is trying to steal my pillow! Eunice Great job on LIS LIC! I hate when DH walks in on me when I am trying to do a step or floor or even kickboxing. He distracts me and I forget what I am supposed to do. Great job on MM too! I remember the first several times (and even now) having my whole body be shaky after doing that one. But it is so good! My dogs cry or whine sometimes too in their sleep. I have even heard them growl very low. I bet Sam is dreaming about chasing kangaroos! Janie Great job on your long walk on the beach with Rolly! Yep, if you are fighting with yourself over working out you probably needed that extra day of rest. I love yogurt and I like miso soup but it is so high in sodium so I don’t have it very often. Even though I am almost 100% German, I cannot eat sauerkraut. I can’t get past the smell long enough to even put it in my mouth. I love cabbage though. Hope your purple sauerkraut turns out. Pam Great job on 40/20 and NE abs! Haha! I feel the same way too. During the warm up, I’ll be like, oh my Cathe is killing me now will I be able to do the actual workout. And then there are times when a tough workout seems pretty tame compared to what I was expecting. Guess it all depends on how my body is feeling that day. Sometimes I will sing songs from the workouts too throughout the day. I like cherries too and they have melatonin in them which helps regulate your sleep. Have fun seeing Sweaty Teddy! Interval sprinting today for longer than ever before. Was on the beach an hour and a half, (not all interval sprinting) and lots of walking with Rolly. The Kraut is not ready yet, maybe in other couple of weeks I think. I'll keep checking though.
Pam, Great job on on Hiit 40/20 and NE abs. Yep love the many things it has in just a half hour. Amazing. Ooooo, improving I would say if 40/20 seems easier to do. Good for you. Enjoy Ted tonight, let us know how that went. Julie, Great job on back and triceps. And awesome that you increased the weight. Woo Hoo! Sauerkraut is not for everyone for sure. Julie Great jobon back and triceps and increasing your weights. I hope you are enjoying some nice tricep DOMS now. I usually don't get shoulder DOMs from my workouts either, but I get bad ones when I ski. It is probably my best shoulder workout.
I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who worries about getting through the workout while doing the warmup. You really never know what it's going to be like though. So funny that you mentioned Sweaty Teddy, we were a little worried because we had 4th row seats and figured that is within the 'splash zone'. :Luckily though there was no sweat flying last night. ![]() Janie Great jobon your interval sprinting and nice long walks. Wow, I had no idea that it took that long to make sauerkraut! You really have to plan ahead with that one! I think every day is just a different day 40/20 seemed easier yesterday, but who knows what it will be like the next time I do it! Well the show last night was a lot of fun. The seats right in front of us were empty which was nice because it gave us a better view. He looks so good, I was surprised at how young looking he is and he is 64. He said it's because of no drinking, no drugs, and eating venison! He was pretty entertaining. We went to a little Mexican place for dinner first and it was really really good. I did get up and do Lower Body Blast this morning, although I got a later start than normal. That one is good though because she works you just to the point where you want to stop and she does.
