Pam I have never been to Vegas but I would like to. I think it would be easy to stay up all night in the casino because you have no idea what time it is. Ha Ha no you won't be seeing me in any magazines. Good job on Legs and Glutes and the original Imax. Bummer that you have a cold now. Try to get some rest this weekend, don't worry the weeds aren't going anywhere .

Julie Good job on Power Hour. I am with you that I like DWP better that 40/20. My modeling fee tasted pretty good. I picked up a bottle of wine and we had pizza and wine for dinner.

Janie Sometimes you just need a day off from working out. Good job on disc 29 Plyo Legs. Have you read Diana Gabaldon's the Outlander series? That one is pretty good. I heard The Help is a really good book too, but I haven't read that one yet.

Eunice Too funny about you embarassing Brandy. I am glad that Stacy is feeling better now. So are you going to sign up for the training and nutrition program? It sounds interesting, I will go check it out. Brandy's hair turned out really nice. I wish I had nice hair like that.

Yesterday was my PT session and I had to do some quizzes for it. It did pretty good I just got one wrong out of 55 questions. This morning I did Circut Blast, one I hadn't done in a while. After that it was housework laundry and running around. It was so nice here today it actually felt like Spring. I could open the windows and air the place out. We have one more day of nice weather before it goes back to rain again.

Have a great day everyone.

Cheryl

Today was heavy gardening again for a couple of hours plus I did disc 30, shoulders, triceps and biceps.

Cheryl, I did read Diana Gabaldon's series. I also read The Help. It's a good one. Well, they all are good reads. I'll keep searching. Great job on the quizzes, you did really well. Also great job on Circut Blast, housework, laundry and errands. I loved our weather the last couple of days, got lots of work done outside that needed my attention for a long time. Don't you just love the breeze coming in the window and doors. Oh that is so nice!

Take care ladies,

Janie

Janie oh good for you getting all of that gardening done. It is hard work but it feels so good to get it done. Wow, you weren't kidding when you said heavy gardening either! sawing off branches and hauling them around, wow! my cold was pretty bad the last couple of days, but I think I have turned the corner, I felt a lot better this morning than I did yesterday morning when I woke up

Cheryl I have been to Vegas many many times for work. My DH kept telling me that I didn't like it because every time I had been there in the past I had been working. I didn't like it much better this time though There is a lot of cool stuff nearby, like the Red Rocks and Hoover Dam and there are some other good hiking places. They also have great shows and shopping so it really isn't all bad if you don't like to gamble. So I shouldn't complain! I was hoping for some nice weather though and it was cold!
It sounds like you are just breezing right through your PT training, I bet that the instructor is really impressed! I'm glad that you got to enjoy some nice spring weather too!

JanieGreat job on disc 30 and gardening! I bet you were one sore puppy after all of that!

Eunice and Julie I hope you had a great weekend!

Yesterday i was planning to do a workout, but I just had no energy at all when I woke up because of this darn cold. So instead I made myself a couple of poached eggs on toast and went out and attacked the weeds. I ended up spending the whole day pulling weeds, raking leaves, and cutting the lawn. I got quite a bit down, but of course there is still more to do. I had some inside work that I had hoped to get done this weekend too but unfortunately no such luck. There is never enough time for everything. I decided to take another day off from working out since I felt so bad last night, but I do think I'm starting to shake this thing. I could actually breath this morning and wasn't having coughing fits, so quite an improvement i hope everyone has a great Monday, they sure do get here fast!

Pam

Saturday I did Boot Camp and then got so busy I forgot to post. I spent the rest of Saturday doing the usual, cooking, cleaning, laundry, errands. You know the fun stuff! Sunday was a rest day. This morning I did Muscle Endurance.

Janie Great job on disc 29! Those plyo leg workouts are great but also intense and tiring. No problems taking a rest day. Just remind yourself on those days that your muscle is rebuilding itself and your mind is getting prepared for your next workout. Hmmm! I am not much of a book reader. I mainly read magazines because those are easier to put down and pick up without getting too involved. I found when I read books, I would stay up too late trying to read as much as I could. Great job on getting your gardening done. That counts as exercise in my opinion. That black plastic is a lifesaver when it comes to weeds. I wish I had put it down before

Eunice Sounds like you had a busy day in Melbourne and looks like it is getting cold over there. We have had unseasonably warm weather the last several weeks but today it is only going to be in the mid-50s which is a little chilly to me. Brandy’s hair looks so pretty. Is her hair naturally wavy like that? I’m glad the new antibiotic is working and Stacy is feeling better. I’ll have to look into that website.

Pam Great job on Imax! I like weeding the morning after it rains too because it is so much easier to pull the weeds out. I have to weed my front flower beds too but I just hate doing it plus our weekends have been pretty busy lately. Although yesterday I guess I could have forgone my rest day and went out and did it like you did. You certainly got a lot done. I’m glad you took another day off from working out. I think that will help you kick this cold to the curb for good plus when you do get back to working out you should feel better and be able to give it your all again.

Cheryl Wow! 1 out 55 wrong is really good. Great job on Circuit Blast! I always forget about that one because it is kind of short but then again it is pretty intense for the time spent. We’ve been opening our windows lately. We usually end up closing them shortly after opening them though because Ozzie kind of freaks out with all the noises outside. That usually only happens if there are kids outside playing or the neighbors are outside doing yardwork. If it is quiet outside, he is fine though.

Have a great day!

Had a wonderful rest day today.

Pam, So glad you are feeling better. Darn colds anyway! After disc 30 I did have teeny tiny DOM's today. Not as much as I thought I would. Hmmmmm. WOW! Your reundevue attaching the weeds is amazing especially with a cold. High Five to ya! I think housework and yard work is a never ending chore.

Julie, Great job on Saturday's BC, cooking, cleaning, laundry and errands and today's ME. Whew! You did a lot. I also need to clean my house. I'll start on it tomorrow.

Eunice, Glad you could pop in on us. I know how it is when you get busy with life. We love you too. Oh, hope you feel better soon. Old and ugly? Never!

Take care everyone,

Janie

Julie Great job on BC! I know how that gets when you get all involved in your work and forget to post so don't worry about it. We've all been there. great job on ME too!
I hate doing the weeding too but our yard had gotten so bad that it was really bothering me. I'm so happy when I look at it now. I still have more to do, but at least it doesn't look as intimidating as it did. I couldn't believe it though, when DH got home i asked him how the yard looked and he hadn't noticed!! ouch! He didn't even notice how bad the weeds were in the first place either, and that was all I saw when I looked at the yard. The only thing he notices is whether the lawn needs to be cut.

Eunice Good for you taking some time off from working out. Your body needs that once in awhile. Don't worry about not replying to everyone (for this week only anyway ) Oh big hugs to you. you are not even close to being old OR ugly, you are young and strong and BEAUTIFUL! Don't you forget that!

Janie So glad that you had a wonderful rest day. you have been working so hard in that garden I bet you needed it. I hope you spent some time in that hot tub too! You re right about house and yard work being a never ending chore. Sometimes it can be so discouraging, but it can also give you a real sense of accomplishment too.

Cheryl Hope you are doing well!

This morning for me was step, Jump and pump. I hadn't done it in awhile and it was a lot of fun! I was so excited, my DH did disc 1 of STS last night! I have been telling him for awhile that he should do it and he came home last night and wanted to. he hasn't done any 1 RM tests, but he said afterwards that it was a killer and he could've done the whole thing with 8 lb dumbbells and still gotten a good workout. He was mad because he was doing some of the pushups on his knees - a first for him! I'm hoping he keeps it up! i have already warned him about the leg workouts in M1! Have a great day ladies!

Pam

This morning when my alarm went off I let out a whimper. I was sleeping so good I couldn’t believe it was already time to get up. But get up I did and shuffled my way to get ready for Cardio & Weights. I really like that one and despite the uplifting tune of Buttercup, it didn’t do much to wake me up. I got through it and did the cardio portions the best but the was having terrible coordination problems with the plié squats and upright rows and the lunges with triceps extensions. I sure hope tomorrow is better.

Eunice Oh a whole rest week sounds excellent. It sounds like maybe you really need time off to regroup and get enthused about working out again. Enjoy your time off!

Janie You probably needed that rest day after all that gardening you did. Hope you enjoyed it and got all rested up.

Pam Great job on SJP! I love that one and have it on tap for next week and cannot wait! I think that is the only workout in which I actually enjoy floor aerobics. That’s awesome about DH. My DH has been doing ok with working out but he is losing interest in walking on the treadmill. I’m hoping to get him started on weights soon and then maybe STS one day, who knows. Maybe the fact that he had to go to his knees will give your DH the push to keep at it. I think I may be like your DH when it comes to the yard. The weeds don’t really bother me, I do notice them but they just don’t bother me enough to do them. They do bother my DH and if it takes too long for me to do them he just weed-wacks everything in sight including flowers.

Have a great day!

Janie

JanieGood for a rest day I'm enjoying my week off and feeling much better I don't think I'm getting sick it was just weird feeling of ugliness but DH always tells me that he loves me no matter what and that makes me feel good but not GREAT Good job doing the wedding video!!

Pam So funny about your DH not even noticing how bad and how good the yard, that's men thing though mine doesn't notice any diff when the floors are clean and when they aren't... crazy men
Thanks for your sweet complements I'll try not to forget that!!! but it is funny though today I was thinking how in this world I'm going to deal when I get to the menopause can you picture me? poor DH I hope is not that bad!
Good job doing SJP... How excited that your DH is doing STS I wonder how his going to like when he gets to the leg work, I hope he keeps it up too.!!

Julie Good job doing C&W I know what you mean when you really want to do it but your body does't want to cooperate maybe you are going to need a week of rest too... Highly recommended !!!! But I'm sure tomorrow you'll do much better. You are right maybe I needed it to regroup my thoughts and energy now I'm thinking about if I should finish the rotation or do soothing else?

Yesterday I put my workout clothes and got down and dirty cleaning windows in the kitchen they are big and a lot 8 of them I cleaned them inside and out side I washed them with the water hose I washed the floors too, DH always does the grass but he never really clean the grass that goes to the walls and nether do I so yesterday was the day... I did pretty good also I did dust the little furniture we have in the kitchen, computer desk mopped the floors it does a huge diff now I can see outside the glass and everything looks better Oh I was having the day of my life playing music and dancing with the broom
Few things I wanted to tell you guys ... I got the gift certificated from Cathe for the recipe, now I can go shopping!!!!
Also I found one little, tiny, black lizard in the DVD case the other day, I was on the phone with my sister when I started screaming my head off I think when I closed the case I got his tail because when the girls came back home from school they helped me out getting it out of the bucket half of the tail was gone, anyways it was a crazy day.
No workout yet but I'd being good with food. I don't know if should I sign for the program or not DH told me to put my name on the waiting list but I'm not sure if I should do that, do you think is a little to much? The guy it supposed to be a genius all of his clients have GREAT results all of them, I'm still thinking about it. Hey $300.00 for 4 weeks is something that I have to plan for it, besides it supposed to be for at least 12 weeks so at the end is a lot of money.

Have a great day ladies.
